want to buy a phone but doesn't know which phone is better, cause there is too much model and options.

my budget is around RM 1k or below.
need:

1. wifi
2. bluetooth
3. touch screen
4. qwerty keys(virtual?)
5. 5.0 megapixel camera
6. got mini usb port, and 3.5mm audio port
7. mp3 player
8. support internet streaming
9. light and moderate small

not required to support many games, me seldom play phone games.

any suggestion for me? with price pls?

thx. notworthy.gif

I choose N97 mini because larger screen. But what is your priority getting a phone?
I prefer touchscreen virtual QWERTY keyboard for the resistive touchscreen.
You want mini USB port or the micro USB port 1? hmm.gif
*
sorry, is micro usb port... sweat.gif

Well, your requirement of "MP3 player" means you want a good speaker for music? Most of the phone have loudspeakers already.
*
then just ignore this... sweat.gif
if the phone can support playback of ape or flac music files is better but not a must.

Umm, if you do not mind about the camera quality very much and don't mind of using the outdated, but usable Symbian; why not take a look at the Nokia C5-03 thread? You can ask the TS for the phone experience before buying.

For this kind of investment, just be patient to survey around. icon_rolleyes.gif

Here is the link for the Nokia C5-03 thread:

thx for helping me.

camera quality have 5.0 megapixel is enough for me.
using what os is not a problem for me, as long as it is usable.(Symbian still provide update or technical support?)

is there any other choice which support microSD up to 32GB? notworthy.gif
and i need internet surfing too...

Hmm, hard to say about that. The issue is why need update in the first place. Sometimes, I have been asking this myself. Update for better stuff, yes.

Sometime, after update suffer new bugs or issue then I am not happy with it.

OS only provide update rather than support.

Well, it does not support till 32 GB for the micro SD MC. But, do you really need that much?

For web surfing, there are some issues with it. If you want a better web surfing experience with flash, Symbian is not a good choice.

But like i said, just take your time to scout first. Don't rush to buy handphones or being baited with good offers.
*
no OS is completely free of bug, it's just which one is more... tongue.gif

32GB just in case need it in the future sweat.gif

so which os is better for web surfing?

i have a lot of time to survey and wont rush cause I don't have the money yet cry.gif

The colour, the reproduction. The resolution.
It's like comparing between a CRT monitor and an LCD monitor.

IMO,

my preference:

Retina Display > SuperAMOLED > SLCD> TFT >LCD

CSL Mi300, don't let the name fool you. Solid phone for it's price
LG Optimus One would be a better choice. Gimme budget, and i'll see what i can do.
Xperia x10 if you take pics alot. if up by 0.4k, can get nicer phones. biggrin.gif
*

That is already AP. No ori set as was meant to be a USA only model.  icon_idea.gif

So, it's up to you bro. settle with a lower phone or save more.

if after I buy it, and want to repair if something broken, where can I repair it at malaysia?

P.S. during warranty period and after warranty period

For handphones, it is better to buy locally. Otherwise, it is not worth of getting it repair in case anything happen.

Courier fees, SIRIM fees and other charges that is not foreseen.

so do you have other suggestion that is similar to captivate?
