I bet there would be at least another one express bus related accident before end of this year

how about invent a system where it'll automatically off the engine if exceed the speed limit, and able to start the engine after one hour.

if exceed another speed limit, the engine will off for 1 hour increment biggrin.gif

frikkin scary mang

here's what i think.
news said the bus rammed the rear of a car before losing control.
so it must be that the bus was tailgating the bugger like most buses do, probably at about 120 on the right lane.

not uncommon to see bus driving 120-130 on right lane. crazy.

if bus ram the car rear, the car should lose control, not the bus.

unless the bus trying to dodge car's rear and end up lose control

i guess the car want to kill himself. if bus ram the car's rear, i straight away accelerate and switch to another lane.

I think u brought a good issue here.
Here are the facts:
1. We have a high rate of accident in Malaysia.
2. We know it by being on the road, we have a chance of getting an accident.
3. So, the question is, can we at least protect ourselves from being injured or killed?
4. Nah, with the safety standard of vehicle in our country, we have a lot of old cars where the safety is not very good and
expensive new car to buy if we want a latest safety features.
5. Imagine yourself being in a war without kevlar, no helmet, no boot, no gun etc, are you feel safe there?
6. So, it's same here when we drive on the road, we just drive plain naked.

Inalillah...
RIP...

P/s: why not send one of our bus to be evaluated oversea regarding the safety features? Are they really safe?

i heard the bus just collide the adjacent car before lost control and bang the road divider to the oncoming traffic in Southbound..

Coaches should reinforced with tougher body frame so that it cant easily wrecked under it's own weight...

I guess if we need to change anything is to change bus driver's attitude. Not saying that all bus drivers are bad.

Btw may they all rest in peace for those who died in the accident.
