Hey guys, im on Linux Mint but since the Linux Mint thread is dead I have post this here.
My sister was using my PC to play some online flash based games, I was not at home at that time. She climed that suddenly an error window popped up and she just clicked ok and the computer restarted itself. When I got home the computer would not connect to the internet, it says something about some PAD0 error. I usually set the pc to automatically connect and I will use the sudo poff dsl-provider command to disconnect if I need to disconnect to off and on my modem cos Streamyx totally "rocks". When I got home later that day, I turned on the computer but it refused to go online and when I typed sudo pon dsl-provider in the terminal, terminal would hang for abit then say that pppoe did not respond. I havnt had time to reformat the thing and I set up a manual connection and connecting manually seems to work fine. So... any ideas what the hell PAD0 error is? Thanks alot guys |
