Hi guys, its been pretty long since i posted. haha...
Hey seniors... how r u... looks like there are lots of new forumer. cool... QUOTE(whale1987 @ Dec 8 2010, 02:50 PM) Btw how heavy do ppl around my stats squat? Or rather how heavy do you all squat? Just wana use the information as a benchmark to see how i am stacking up.. yo bro... 73kg at 175cm eh. well, it depends on ur built as well. For example, i am 86kg but flabby. Some ppl maybe be 70kg but can squat much more. well, a good estimation i heard was 1.5 times ur body weight. so, probably 110-120kg is a good bench mark. for deadlift i think 2 times ur body weight i guess. anyway all the best bro. hehe |

QUOTE(whale1987 @ Dec 8 2010, 06:07 PM) owh, so at least squatting my own bodyweight is a good benchmark.. looks like i nid to invest in more weights den, maybe in the near future haha... good benchmark would be min ur body weight i guess. but ideal is 1.5x. Since i am only lifting 40kg now, i nid to get another 40Kg at least... thats gonna burn my wallet like a fire spreading in a forest.. 1 piece of 10KG weight cost around RM100... QUOTE(kaspersky-fan @ Dec 8 2010, 06:20 PM) yeah i went mia for so damn long. training kinda slow down. will post pics probably in 1-2 weeks time hopefully. weight maintain, but not sure bout others. hahhahaha... my stats definitely dropped like mad. =.= QUOTE(shiloong7081 @ Dec 8 2010, 07:21 PM) i am about 70kg same height , squatted 165lbs including the bar last week, deadlift about 140lbs. but i can't bench pass 100lbs bench press is just so hard to increase. haha i am having the same problem. since b4, i cant get it to go up. deadlift 185kg, squat 155kg, bench press only 105kg. wanna hit 120kg also cannot. |

QUOTE(darklight79 @ Dec 9 2010, 01:22 PM) Please don't take any offense Jon, and this definitely isn't targeted at you specifically, it's just that I don't understand why do people slack off the lifestyle sometimes for no reason unless it's a personal crisis, serious injury or an extremely time consuming commitment. I know some guys I train with who have worse work hours than me (and when this statement comes from someone of my profession, that's means nasty work hours) but are still insanely dedicated to the lifestyle. haha chris, i screw up my back again thats why i went mia. but i still went to gym to do some light stuff. but cant go as frequent coz sometimes pain too unbearable. but i go at least 2-3 times a week. not as often as b4 like 5-6 times a week. now i feel better, so going back to 3-4 times a week. but will push myself again. now targeting to reach 100kg bench by end of this month.Maybe I'm looking at it from a skewed POV, I've been guilty of slacking a few times in my life ever since I've taken up the sport but never on extended periods. I might never compete but it's something that'll stay with me through life. |

QUOTE(jackwylde @ May 7 2011, 04:53 AM) there is a big guy did a bench press of 100kgs for a bout 10reps i think. There is also one guy in my campus gym. i heard the infamous "yeah buddy!!" war cry on his first rep A mongolian dude, 190+cm, 20 years old only. He is benching 185kg x 1 rep. He normally slap himself, sometimes he even ask me to smack his back b4 lifting. Really funny dude. |
