It's coming up to 3 years since meh started selling Empire Residence. How is Meh going to handle late delivery? Automatic send cheques to buyers or deduct off final price?

On S&P it's 4 years.
*
Developer are trying their luck with earlier parcel purchasers by saying that they got housing ministry extension from 36 to 42 months. Probably trying to minimize liquidated acertained damages (lad).
Housing ministry is not a party in the S&P though. Who is going to bear the lad? Housing Ministry? What if buyers pay late 6 months and get 'Surat sokongan' from political parties? Can buyers get away with that?

Please comment and advice.

well, hope that this developer is not like some others who deliver incomplete units eg doors missing etc and
when vped just asking the buyers to fill in the defects form for missing doors etc..one unscrupulous way of
trying to avoid less LAD or any LAD for that matter..
*
I won't be surprise meh will try to deliver incompleted units in order to reduce or avoid lad. They are already sending letters to buyers of empire residence telling them to acknowledge 42 months (extension from S&P contracted 36 months) delivery saying that meh gotten approval from housing ministry! These 'Surat sokongan' can be signed by any clerks in government ministries. All signed 'bagi pihak'. Moreover, housing ministry has no legal standing in the s&p.
If buyers pay late, get 'Surat sokongan' from political parties, can get away with it?! Or housing ministry pay meh on buyers behalf?

empire residence is (mostly) a landed gated and guarded project located inside Damansara Perdana, opposite Armani terrace condominium. Not to be confused with empire Damansara or empire city mixed developments of sohos and service residences.

This meh is the cheapest and lousiest developer in Malaysia. Late delivery and finding ways to reduce lad such as unauthorized extension by housing ministry. Buyers will go to court with meh.

Ecoworld, ytl and even sunrise has great reputation as developers. These meh buggers forcing buyers to accept 6 months 'extension' from housing ministry.

Hopefully it turns out well.
Will never buy anything from meh again.
If they screw ER buyers up, will set aside lump sump of money to go to court and do publicity for them.
A developer without reputation is as good as dead.
