QUOTE(yoong @ Aug 12 2011, 12:58 PM) I realized I dont have many color shots. hehe. Here is one: Splendid shot ! Love the saturated colour, velvia is always awesome !![]() Shot on Velvia 100. I think the complains are re: the color reproduction. They seem to have a little harde time to scan slides and some color negs. But nothing that cant be tweaked during post processing (which you should be doing anyway after scanning) So it wasnt an issue to me. The 8800F is cheap and good. I would have kept mine last time, but I needed to upgrade to scan my 4x5 negs. |

QUOTE(yuhi @ Aug 23 2011, 10:18 PM) Thanks bro although my BnW still sucks ! Neopan 400 if i remember correctly...no i didn't push the film QUOTE(ifer @ Aug 23 2011, 11:15 PM) did you process the film yourself? Yea, first time developed the BnW myself, taught by a very kind friend.it's dusty and notice there is a sort of 'bulan sabit' (lol) on the 3rd photo? it's mishandling of the negative. accidentally 'folded' the negative. but on the other hand, it gives a very nice 'feel' to it. Added on August 23, 2011, 11:17 pm eh, i heard good things about colorlab. give photohub a try as well Yup, these scans are quite dusty due to poor scanning skill and rush, scanner borrowed from a friend haha... i'm thinking of getting myself a scanner so i can put more effort on scanning my negs. I see...gotta handle my negs better next time...I thought it was caused by flare lol... Thanks ! This post has been edited by Riggo: Aug 23 2011, 11:48 PM |

QUOTE(ifer @ Aug 23 2011, 11:55 PM) hahaa Sure ! Hope i could learn something from you someday dont worry about it. self processing is fun. and tedious at times. once you are serious about it, you will realise that there is a huge world of black and white darkroom technique waiting to be discovered. dust and scratches are normal for beginners but try to minimise it. QUOTE(rx330 @ Aug 24 2011, 09:14 AM) still no balls to develop myself Should try it next time...any film can be developed by yourself, just that you need the correct chemicals.both color and b&w also can be develop ownself? or only b&w? i send a few of mine pix to be scan, no idea how it would look like, hopefully still ok, out of 12, only 4 sharp, 2 outta focus, the rest kenot see anything, hahahaha ifer, thanks for the suggestion |

QUOTE(yuhi @ Aug 29 2011, 09:25 PM) Ohh, didn't know that the nokton could produce such dreamy pictures. Hahaha! I knew that it was a 1.2 or faster lens but didn't expect it to be a nokton Nokton 50 1.1 is quite an underrated lens as in bokeh but i found it to be opposite. The bokeh seems quite smooth to me although i don't really care about it. It is the cheapest f1 lens in the market and available new. Some say it is better than the rather overpriced nocti f1 in some ways. P.S also much smaller than nocti f1 Added on August 29, 2011, 11:15 pmWet market ![]() This post has been edited by Riggo: Aug 29 2011, 11:15 PM |
