Nah didnt pushed the films, the b&w grainy probably because its under exposed and i tried to fix it in lightroom blush.gif

Sent mine to develop at colordotcom

yeah i realise i do have one grainy like that, but i dint push it either, was also underexposed but i think the scanning part upped the exposure and grain

Hi everyone!

I'm using a Pentax MX (but haven't seen the results yet tongue.gif )

Does anyone know where I can get an Epson V600?
And is there a big price difference between Epson V600 and Canon 8800f?

Thanks! smile.gif

Do you know anywhere we could develop push color films..

I love the latitude of portra even shot it at 3200 rating but kinda grainy..

But I love portras overexposed by a stop! But rarely get to do it lol

Because of that I've been using trix 400 at 3200 n 6400

I thought anywhere also they can push or pull right. it's just actually the temperature and duration the film is being exposed to the developer solution.

correct me if I am wrong though

I usually over expose must of my film by one or two stops, slides may not be so forgiving compared to colour negatives though.

there's this fuji 400h which I like too, you over expose it it turns bluish, underexpose it turns pinkish. at least that's what I think I am observing lol

Added on November 20, 2012, 4:38 pmthose lines are scratches and dust.. blow the scanner and the film before scanning I guess

Ahhh normally when it comes to color they normally use Machines hence the developing time is the same for all color films that was what I was told at the shop.. Unlike B&W it is done manually..

I would love to develop my films on my own 1 day thou hehe

I only see 1 pricelist with the 9000f on it on lowyat.net, at RM900++.
I was thinking of getting something for RM600 or so... Do you think that's possible?

I saw some comparisons of 8800f and V600 output, and the V600 looks a lot better in terms of dynamic range and sharpness.

Oh sorry for not explaining clearly haha!

Well they do have other settings but he would need to switch it back for the next batch of film rolls later..

problem is that later he might forgotten and messed up everybody's exposure because of me biggrin.gif

So i'll just stick to good ol black and white tri-x!

I dont think you can get the V600 for less than RM600. The 9900F should suit your needs. The V700 is nearly RM 2k.

You can use TMax developer or HC 110. Both is quite good for pushing.

It's involved a different set of chemicals and different equipment. B&W is easier actually, that's why it mostly done manually aka by hand.
