it's basically a stereo speaker turned the other way to amplify the low ends of the bass frequency. I did a recording with it, it actually saves the engineer a whole load of trouble trying to EQ the kick sound because they have additional sound waves to play around with.

QUOTE(WintersuN @ Jan 10 2011, 02:57 PM) no i mean quarter note triplet on the kick with eighth note on the hi hat? i know its very weird combination thats why asking.. 3 over 4 hi hat kick combination? I think that's the closest example i can think of. quater triplet on kick 8th on hat with feet. Then apply it to sticks. Then double time the hat while keeping the kick on quater note?

QUOTE(jshchn @ Apr 11 2011, 08:28 PM) Hey guys. Love reading some of the discussions in this thread. Just wondering in and around KL/PJ area where are the specialized drum shops? or is it only JS? I am actually looking for a good set of Hi-hats and 18" crash or crash ride with a budget of RM2000. I was looking at the Dark Meinl Byzances as Underoath drummer Aaron Gillespie abuses it. It sounds so good. What do you recommend? Do you guys know Mike Johnston? I personally love John Mayer's drummer Steve Jordan. His feel is sooo good. Happy drumming guys I have a 18" Dark Byzance crash for sale. Hit me up an offer

QUOTE(isaacmiranda7 @ Jun 13 2011, 02:43 PM) I think for exam based courses you would have to go to Yamaha or Bentleys around your area. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Yeah, either/ or just hire a personal tutor.

QUOTE(isaacmiranda7 @ Nov 21 2011, 03:40 PM) I deal ddrum. And its stocked at JS. NO, I disagree with you. Everyone has their personal preferences, and of course the pro lines (eg. Sonor Delite) will pwn the beginner lines of other brands (eg. Pearl Forum). Different tastes and different feel. Meritocracy. Not a major fan of any of the above brands, but I use/have used gear from all of the above brands you mentioned. Guitar store deals with DDRUM now and they're accepting endorsements.
