Ask indah water come and suck is not a big issue.
Problem is if you extend your back part of your house and the sewage hole inside the wet kitchen.
That smell and hundred of cockroaches come out from the hole.  sweat.gif
So my mother always move all the things from wet kitchen into dry kitchen first when knowing indah water guys coming to suck and move back when done, Very tiring work

You are saying the sewerage hole inside your extended kitchen - cockroaches can pass through? It should be covered tightly?

AB2 was a newer development and uses different sewerage system; thus, AB2 was not affected so far. Rest, not sure if the resolution found or not.

So, what has been mentioned by Mr Jacob in 2015 is wrong? Or the Star put the wrong info?

He is generalising the issues. Even for AB1, Houses built on higher elevation was never affected also, depending on which road the house on.

As For AB2, the older section is using same system but newer built house (after phase xx onwards) has revert back to traditional sewerage system. As a whole, AB2 never had any problem so far. Possibly because the number of houses on the sewerage pump system is much less than AB1 (after newer built dont use the same system).

It's more complicated than the general statement.

The high rise is selling at very expensive price and now the house prices look cheap in comparison.

Don't know it will be an eye sore if it is high end condo.

The house price has good appreciation but the rental is very bad.

It is a gross exaggeration to state all residents. Haha.

Bandar Botanic Residents Asosociation (RA) president Jacob Mathews said all residents staying in Bandar Botanic, Ambang Botanic 1 and Ambang Botanic 2 were affected.

Has that not covered the entire area? BB + AB1 + AB2 is the entire development. As far I could recall, the "lower" end residential areas at BB side isn't affected as well.

Is it due to the reason that Ambang Botanic 1 sewage system is handled by Indah Water, while Ambang Botanic 2 one is still handled by the developer?

Not sure the operator on this. But my guess is because AB2 sewerage runs on much lower capacity? More than half on the houses inAB2 no longer on this system. I think both also handover to Indah water already?
