I wanna to ask about the Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens.....does it a good buy?

It costing around RM350....my purpose to buy this lens is I want it's wide aperture which allow. Easier shoot at night and most important the bokeh produced by it

It is very cheap compared to the 50mm f/1.4L which is costing around 2K and 35mm f/1.2L which is around 5K something......I wonder how it's quality

Canon 60d cameout already....anyone knows how much is the price?

Wow. I just received the price list of 60D, ( From shop one ). RM2999 for Body only.. That's almost same as 50D.... O gosh~~~

Why is it the EF75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM so much cheaper than EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM?
Is it becoz only of the fixed aperture and also the IS ?

What makes L series lens much more expensive? is it the material used or what? =(

Seller told me juz write down date of purchase then go send warranty if got problem la....

EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM, EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II USM and EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM lenses delayed
Following the announcement of the new EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM, EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II USM and EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM, on 26th August 2010, Canon has now delayed the introduction of these lenses due to some adjustments in the manufacturing process. These lenses are now due to be released in March 2011.

Canon would like to apologise to any customers who will be inconvenienced by these delays.

why not u keep the 1dmk4 and sell your 2470 and get the 17-55 f2.8 instead? certainly make things lighter and u get IS and u still get the USM?
