I played with IS II before. Very sharp and good. Tried it on 7D / 5DMKII and even 60D. Don't have 1000D to try on tho.

QUOTE(kuro0314 @ Oct 18 2010, 04:11 PM) i knew that by using 1000d for the 70200, pic will be crop. besides that not much about it. why would everyone said is a waste for 1000d? i don see anywaste besides the sensor, megapixel, color and so on. overall i still preferred with my 1000d. with good lenses and body doesnt mean the photographer take good picture. If you have cash, using 200mm f/2 IS on 1000D also no problem. Your call mate |

QUOTE(khaiandrew @ Oct 18 2010, 04:32 PM) Indeed very fast.QUOTE(kuro0314 @ Oct 18 2010, 04:33 PM) not that im boast around. i just want to know more clearly about the 70200 on the body of 1000d. i just want to make sure everything is fine before buying it. Why not head over to shop and try it yourself ? I always did that before I buy anything. |

I thought 7D can perform way better than this ! I saw lots of 7D user with great photos and I myself been using it. I don't think it really perform like what 7D can do |

QUOTE(kaigraphy @ Oct 19 2010, 07:59 PM) hahaha...I'm not pro like you mah...just shoot fun fun and learn along the way...my demand very small 1....maybe next time I should use tripod unfortunately some stupid ppl say even that is useless cause will shake by god LMAO !! Shooting an animal need to use tripod ? And worst case you're using f/1.4 lens and the photos way under ! Instead of blaming other matters, blame your god damn skill. Even tripod can shake la. If you don't believe, try ask most of the user here. Added on October 19, 2010, 8:00 pm the high pixel 7d very sensitive for movement oh so put high high Not to say pro or not. Your photo, that dog photos, even LX-5 / S90 can perform way better ! p/s : I see nothing interesting in your flickr and dpreview page too. Instead of keep commenting on gears and etc, show us your photo. Everyone can talk but photos is the best way to show a person skill. I don't talk much because I still learning. And most of your post are really showing that as if you're good enough in everything ! ponder this and get back to shoot more instead of technical talk. |

If f/1.4 also can't, you need this.

QUOTE(tararan @ Oct 21 2010, 10:21 AM) just want to ask, who has experienced Tamron 17-50 on VC and non-vc version? I've done some reading thru reviews from those website and forum and still undecide which one I should go for... Personally play with VC and non VC on canon's body. Prefer the VC version as quality wise, the IQ for VC looks better. As for 17mm 2.8 wide open, is there a big difference in terms of sharpness and quality? (which many ppl are saying non vc are better than vc version?) My understanding for the vc version u should have extra 3 stop advantage to assure the shot you take will not come out as blur image... |
