Wow. I just received the price list of 60D, ( From shop one ). RM2999 for Body only.. That's almost same as 50D.... O gosh~~~

Anyone bought 60D in JB? Just now during lunch hour I went and ask one of the FotoKem shop, they said next month 60D will only arrived. =____=

Not yet. Cause I live nearby Tebrau City ><. Still working at the moment, impossible to fly over there. ( Scared traffic jam haha ).

So far now left Mee Too, Photo Berlian and Johan shop... But I saw Johan price list.... RM3.3k for 60D body only... Kinda like too much already

I think it is still available that why i choose to get camera in Malaysia.

Hi guys, its me again. It seems like I still can't find the 60D anywhere in JB.. And KL price is so attractive. But most important thing is that the 550D price is even more attractive, and seller keep recommending me to get 550D instead of 60D due to less use of the xtra features. After I think around one whole night, I have decided to buy a dslr just for my self purpose usage. Those extra feature like tilt screen, picture style editing, or even wireless speedlight are seems useless to me at the moment., which means I have less budget on DSLR body to get better lenses.

Here's the rough plan. I'm really really a first time beginner, planning to get dslr to go traveling. So need you guys who like to travel oftenly give me some recommendation for those lenses that are suitable for traveling.

Canon 550D + Canon EF-S 18-200mm IS
Canon 550D + Canon EF-S 18-135mm IS
Canon 550D + Canon EF-S 17-85mm IS USM
Canon 550D + Sigma 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 DC OS

or

Canon 60D + Tamron 17-55mm without VC
Canon 60D + Kit Lens ( Any will do ).

So what do you guys think about those. And I found out there are USM motor and Micro Motor, sorry for being noob may i know what are the differences between those 2? And what is Diaphragm blades? The more the merrier? If you have other nice lenses recommend to me. Please feel free to do so. Thanks.

Since less budget on body, means the budget on lenses should be around 1.7k to 2.7k. I don't think i will keep changing lenses though since I'm not quite good at choosing lense at certain occasion >.<. The price he give me for 550D is RM2.25k. Lenses wise, I'm not sure. If USM is better, does it mean Canon 550D + Canon EF-S 17-85mm IS USM is superior than others? Thanks for enlighten me~~~

Hmm...I dont mind learning changing lense. Just that traveling wise, weight might be a problem. But i think is fine for me. ( Unless i buy a lot of stuff from there lo >.< ). so changing lense better than one lens for all right?

Noob question here, since got 18-55mm lenses, what for I need a 50 f1.8 again? For low light purpose? Thanks~~~~

Thanks for enlighten me, so it is like an f1.4 lens can gather twice as much light as an f2.0 model, or four times more than an f2.8 model. Similarly, an f2.8 lens can gather twice as much light as an f4 model, or four times more light than an f5.6 model.

Hmm, now i think i will get multiple lense instead of one lense. My own theory is that usually overall stuff is not good.. Just like 3 in 1 printer with fax and scanner capability. >.< Dont know my theory can apply in lense or not.

Since all those 3 lense can get 1.7k budget together, it seems like it is really better than 1 tamron 17-55mm lense, cause alot of seller does not recommend this due to lost focus during low light.

I hope I make a right choice of getting 550D instead of 60D, dont make me look back again >.<
