The FINAS sticker is placed right at the back portion but sticked on a card (just to cover the back). So yeah, no worries.
The back portion of the steel-book is clean without any stickers. On the front portion, you'll have the KDN sticker like shown above.
*

I can see the price & KDN hologram stickers pasted on the steelbox... which can easily remove using a lighter. At least they can be removed.... unlike UK's nipples. nod.gif

It can be removed with absorbing fluid , yes a lighter is an alternative, but must be done with carefully to avoid burn mark on case.
The price tag, just a rip, it can removed.
*
Yup that's right... even with a fluid you have to be careful (type of fluid used also is important) because if not done right or with care, it will stain the ink print and/or the steelbook surface... nod.gif ...unless the surface is laminated like glossed (as commonly seen on most chocolate box?)

There r many ways actually; the one that I'm quite comfortable with is: u rip it out with your finger, then use cellophane tape (or masking tape etc.) to remove its glue residue slowly, step by step... but have to do it wif patience tongue.gif

At least this surface is much more acceptable than those vulnerable / sensitive plastic keep case... sweat.gif

QUOTE(Bishop @ Nov 17 2010, 01:50 PM)
I personally think that Avatar was a BAD movie...  blush.gif  Stiff acting, simple storyline(Pocahontas??)  whistling.gif
It made a lot of money because of the 3D effects. I was one of the few movies out there that uses 3D to compliment the movie rather than making to movie to show 3D effects.  sweat.gif

But I will get the new release because it was a very very technologically advanced made movie. It single handedly started the 3D craze/technology. I am more interested in the making(extras) of the movie rather than the movie itself.  doh.gif  If you saw the way James Cameron made the movie you will be amazed by the technology involved. He literally redefined the way movies are made. (act first, shoot(compose) later)
Sad to say it was still a bad movie.  doh.gif
*
I had the same notion with Titanic too. Owned the 4-disc Collector's Edition dvd since 2005 but only watched the special features discs.... nod.gif

QUOTE(Bishop @ Nov 18 2010, 12:37 AM)
James Cameron is a great director if only he can keep his ego in check. Think he started out as a visual effects director. Guess that is why he has great vision in his movies. He developed morphing technology when he was shooting Terminator 2. (think a large bulk of the production cost went into developing 3D morphing with Cornell Uni)

Same great development in 3D when he made Avatar.

But he has ego issues. Think after his acceptance speech during the Oscars for Titanic, no distributor wanted to fund his movies.  laugh.gif (didnt release a movie for the next 10 years till Avatar)

He will continue to make great movies and probably be the next George Lucas in developing movie technology. (hope the next movie has a better story and better actors)

That said, just want to reiterate that Avatar was a Bad movie...  tongue.gif
*
With the exception of Titanic, I love almost all James Cameron movies... where T2, Aliens, True Lies and even Avatar being my favourites. If Avatar originally released as a 2D movie then it won't be as successful (or as good...) as it is now because in terms of storyline - was a bit passé imho. But having said that, the visual effects like the characters' mo-cap is quite remarkable actually... taking into a new height if compared to LOTR's Gollum a few years back. nod.gif

*
We are lucky because Amazon charge "per item" fee based on a title rather than on the total disc in a title. imagine other online retailers may charge Harry Potter Years 1-6 Giftset: $3.99 x 7 (as in 7-disc set)!!!! doh.gif

Eh, you never bought anything from this feature ar, bro? hmm.gif It is featured under the Gold Box deals page. I always bought stuff here because there's a slight discount on top of the selling price at that time... not all the time though, because not all titles offered I want because it was randomly generated to all Amazon's customer.

Apart from Iron Man 2, I was hoping Se7en would drop its price too but seems unlikely le....!!?! wink.gif

One question to those done ordering through Lightning Deals since Monday:
If you already put your desired lightning deal-bound title(s) into the cart much before the deal starts... and when it commences, can you just checkout rightaway and still enjoy the new "reduced" price or.... do you have to order only through their BF page window like what they did with Quick Picks? hmm.gif
