QUOTE(maskedchan @ Dec 8 2010, 04:45 PM) Usually Amazon ship priority shipment using DHL; that's how I got my packages each time using Priority Shipment and its always DHL for me. Even some of my friends staying in Penang were ship using DHL. So this is the first time I heard they ship using UPS. Lately, DHL has been giving problems to customers as they can't release the items (especially DVDs and Blu-Rays) because of the FINAS issue. So I do not know whether they have change their shipping courier or not since last month, its still DHL. UPS and FedEx has always (for me) were from either Play-Asia or YesAsia. So UPS shipping from Amazon is a first. |

QUOTE(sKyWiR3pT3lTd @ Dec 8 2010, 04:50 PM) Priority shipping at $4.87? Mind telling how could it possibly be $4.87? Can, just order like 20 BDs that have different release date and choose to ship together, it'll still ship out separately as it's release and the shipping charges is divided between each shipment You shipping it to your US address or something? Or is it UPS charges? QUOTE(hairyLGS @ Dec 8 2010, 04:52 PM) Usually Amazon ship priority shipment using DHL; that's how I got my packages each time using Priority Shipment and its always DHL for me. Amazon wants to be good to their customers so even though we choose to ship together, they will still ship out your BD as it's release instead of in one big shipment QUOTE(hairyLGS @ Dec 8 2010, 04:59 PM) Hmmm... so far, I am happy with FedEx (Play-Asia) and D-Pex (YesAsia) and very happy with those two for the services. Fedex, DHL and EMS is ok for me, but UPS sucks big big time. Finas issues I don't think there's much they can do about it but imagine your parcel already reach KLIA, but it took one whole day or more before the status get updated to delivery Last time (which was few years ago), DHL did gave me some problems but took days to sort it out but hearing lately of this FINAS issue thing, I feel DHL has lost its edge on helping customer needs. |

I understand the part where its counted as single shipment. What i'm talking about is the shipment charges. Its always 3.99 PER ITEM and 29.99 PER SHIPMENT for Priority. Amazon wants to be good to their customers so even though we choose to ship together, they will still ship out your BD as it's release instead of in one big shipment I was wondering where could possibly that $4.87 came from? Salah kira ke? Just curious oni..relax.. |

Well, at least I got my Shrek: The Whole Story Boxed Set without being charge a single cent for shipping, which sort of puzzles me...
But glad I got it at USD 39.99 |

QUOTE(bobtahar @ Dec 8 2010, 07:17 PM) Just got me a new 7.1 HD AVR... Now have dilemma whether to set 7.1 with surround back or Front height. In general 7.1 system suits large listening room. Positioning of your four front height is crucial. You will need to position two of the speakers behind the listening position, and the other two to the side of the listening position. In your guys opinion... what do 7.1 BD movies mostly cater for... surround back or front height? With only numbers of Blu-ray movies with 7.1 sound , you will get full benefit if you have the extra 2 quality speakers. If you are just utilizing 5.1 speakers with 7.1 capable AVR, it may not be ideal. How many speakers do you have for your HT setup? |
