Too bad for Harry Potter's fan, NO 3D version for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I.
QUOTE Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I will be 2D only Source: http://www.armchaircommentary.com/by David Horiuchi on October 08, 2010 This press release just arrived: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I will open in theaters on November 19, 2010, in 2D only instead of 3D. The complete text from Warner Bros.: Warner Bros Pictures has made the decision to release Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 in 2D, in both conventional and IMAX theaters, as we will not have a completed 3D version of the film within our release date window. Despite everyone's best efforts, we were unable to convert the film in its entirety and meet the highest standards of quality. We do not want to disappoint fans who have long-anticipated the conclusion of this extraordinary journey, and to that end, we are releasing our film day-and-date on November 19, 2010 as planned. We, in alignment with our filmmakers, believe this is the best course to take in order to ensure that our audiences enjoy the consummate Harry Potter experience. Producer David Heyman said, "For 10 years, we have worked alongside Alan Horn and the studio, whose priority has always been to preserve the integrity of Jo Rowling’s books as we have adapted them to the screen, and this decision reflects that commitment." Director David Yates continued, "This decision, which we completely support, underscores the fact that Warner Bros. has always put quality first." As scheduled, on July 15, 2011, we will deliver to conventional and IMAX theaters our final installment of the film franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2, in both 2D and 3D formats. So there you have it. I did see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in IMAX 3D, and the 3D portion was only about the first 10 minutes--it was cool, and I would have liked to see the whole thing in 3D, but it's not like the rest of the movie was ruined for me because it was only 2D. I wonder if bad reviews of Warner Bros.' converted 3D release of Clash of the Titans played any part in the decision. Somehow it reminds me of another Harry Potter press release I blogged, when the sixth movie was moved back eight months. At least we'll still be able to see the movie as scheduled. --David |

QUOTE(nazmanson @ Oct 10 2010, 08:50 PM) Just finished watching Rocky boxset.........my comment is the PQ for I-V is unstable sometimes it looks nice 3-3.5/5 but sometimes into the middle of the movie it drops to 2.5/5 After I finished Mad Men, I also watch Rocky I but... stop half way because the story is too "normal". Not excited. For Rocky Balboa aka VI 4/5 This is what I did during the weekend |

So, I think must be our forumers here forced DHL to take action otherwise it is quite impossible to ship from totally another location and at the sametime maintain the same tracking no.

This morning, I wrote feedback to Amazon based on the link provided to me in last email. I just let their know the latest info. regarding how DHL handled this shipment instead of complaint to Amazon about priority service. Just now I received Amazon's replied:
QUOTE Hello, Unless, DHL using 1-day or 2-day super duper fast delivery, otherwise I have 99% confidence, their will miss the estimated date. Your order was shipped by DHL, and it's scheduled to be delivered by October 12. I've checked the tracking information and see that it has been updated and it currently shows as "Arrival Scan" and the package is at CINCINNATI HUB - USA. You can view the available tracking information from the Order Summary in Your Account at the address below: https:// You'll receive the package by the end of October 12. If you do not receive it by October 13, please let us know. Please visit the following link to provide the information we requested: http:// I hope this information helps. We look forward to seeing you again soon. I'm committed to providing world class customer service. Please tell me how I did by clicking the appropriate link below. Did I solve your problem? http:// If not, I'm very sorry. Please click the link below. You'll also have the opportunity to contact Amazon via phone for immediate help with this problem. http:// This post has been edited by low98944: Oct 12 2010, 02:12 PM |

QUOTE(valho @ Oct 12 2010, 02:20 PM) definitely won't reach today or tomorrow Since now still within estimated date and we don't have conclusive evidence that it is Amazon's fault. Better don't make complain. Only after estimated date already lapsed, then, I will write to them and let them decide what action their should take. you didn't ask them why the previous tracking shows ERLANGER, KY - USA and now change to LOUISVILLE, KY - USA. Someone definitely screw up during the shipping of our stuff. |

Just now browse through the newly available pre-order, I found this.
Les Gamins ![]() Proudly presented by Studio Happy Chicken First time I saw www.blu-ray.com list this kind of movie in their database. This cover definately not the final cover. I just checked their DVD version, the cover is more explicit than this. Also you can google or check their facebook, their have stated internation version is uncut and uncensored.
