I went to a shop and there was U41JF@2999 and A42JC@2499. Is A42JC a good buy? Cause including microsoft office and all would probably be 2700-ish. I'm not too sure whether i should still go with U41JF.

I'm also a little worried about the multimedia aspect of Asus laptops. are the speakers and webcams good? Cause its stated in the brochures as VGA built in cameras, and on the website its written 0.3MP. Salesperson says it depends on software more than the pixels. Any opinions on the clarity?

I've narrowed it down to Asus or Inspiron14R... cause they have good international warranty? my budget is less than rm3000 (if overshoot a lil but value for money still okay)

Hey, I'm currently looking for a small laptop. I'm looking for something like a netbook but more powerful than a netbook. Basically, my criteria is:

Brand: Any
Budget: In the region of RM2000 +-
Specs: Mainly use for studying, working, surfing and any other common daily usage and I'm not really into games.
Size: Small and light, 10" to 12".

I'm currently considering Sony Vaio Y Series VPCY15FG and Lenovo e100x. Any other recommendations?
