My toshiba laptop that has been running for more than 5 years dead already....

Planning to get a new laptop soon...
Was thinking of either HP or toshiba because they are more famous brands.Why here keep recommend asua/acer/dell??Are they better?

Using mostly for heavy web-surfing and microsoft and some gaming.
Budget is 3k-4k must have 3 yrs warranty
But most importantly need to be well built laptop la..
Dont wish to have to keep deal with problems.
And after-sales service must be good if not very stressful.

Please advice me!

2. Budget: below RM2600
3. Specs : battery can stay for around 5 hours, not for gaming, paper work like doing assignments and presentations, normal Internet browsing
4. Size: 14"

Just want to say thanks for the recommendations and i bought a Dell studio XPS 1647 i5-m430 @ 2.27 Ghz.

But~ what is xps 1647?? i thought it should be xps 15 something??
I asked the seller he said its just the model name...
I hope i got the right one ...

But the screen he said is Full HD and i think its really good...
But just use few hours...

Btw the price is 3899 havent plus 3 yrs warranty...
Should i upgrade ?

BUT of course, it will be a bonus that the laptop that i want to buy can do gaming to . thanx guys!
