i believed JPM as official froyo since Samsung publish the source code of JPM at the website

i still thinking want to flash back to JPM or not

Try to pull out battery & try again.

i don't want to say it but if you really can't use the 3 button combo to enter recovery mode, the only chance is to sent to samsung center to fix it...

have you tried my proposal as above post? really interested if it's working so i know my phone can be recovered if same thing happened to me.

sengasdf can describe exactly what you did before the boot screen?

I did remember getting black screen and phone keeps vibrating once awhile when i didnt follow proper procedure and flash JPM

What i did was keep holding onto the power button and eventually i have the boot screen,then after that i can use the download mode again

Yeah just keep holding down power button until boot screen.

I experience the same thing too

Oh gosh...swipping down the top toolbar is really laggy...but other stuff doesnt feel as laggy

After that you should go back to black screen and vibration. Just do 3 button download mode again,keep hold on those 3 buttons until you see download mode

Almost no chance of recovery unless you believe in the small chance of entering download mode by random moments or using hairdryer/oven trick. Better save yourself from trouble and just send it to Samsung before you get frustrated and wreck the phone apart.

It's just a phone. Why do you seem to take it religiously? With the amount of money you paid for SGS, I believe there's little difficulty to just grab another iPhone or HTC device.

if the set is 3 button disabled,can i use adb to go into recovery mode?

well,if u know what you are doing, there is nothing to be scare...
even u are wait for the official froyo, well, since you said ur set are disable, and i am guessing it come with stock firmware?? and the problem is..malaysia only gonna have froyo after dec...so, that mean u only can use kies to update after dec if u are on DXJG4...

Hi guys, haven't been keeping in touch with this thread. It's growing so fast.

Anyway, Maxis ran out of stock for almost 3 weeks now. I am so fed up. I'd be lucky to get a Maxis set before this thread becomes version 6. xD

So, I decided to just buy the phone instead la and gonna change to Digi (using maxis now).
I am going for 16GB Ori set.

May I know what are the basic things (and advance things) that I need to check before buying the phone eg. clarify it's ori set, make sure there's no faulty camera or wifi?

Who are the authorised distributor of original Samsung? Is it,  First Mobile Group (FMG)?
Ori samsung have any stickers behind?
How to check IMEI code?
Latest ori firmware is DXJG4 (sp.)?
Anything else?

I installed my Oleophobic SP switching off the fan and air con to ensure no dust flying around.

No need go for malaysian froyo la. Official euro froyo on kies since last week liao. Just go update it using registry tweak. N do a factory reset. Things are running smooth at my end
