cool project, how much did you spend for all the stuffs? very interested in making one myself. what about the softwares? are they easily available for download?

you can buy ready made ldc kit with 5.25" bay cover, or buy by parts and DIY. your pick, price is pretty cheap and shipping is free

got mine running. bought the ready made lcd direct from hong kong. just plug and play. hit a snag during testing. i can't add a second lcd. can't find a way to make it work. i can't control the second lcd. any ideas? loading 2 lcd smartie program doesn't help.

i have tried loading 2 instance of lcd smartie, no luck.

bulk buy? malas laa, anybody that wants it can buy direct from the website. they take paypal. can arrive here in less than a week.

that pic looks complicated with all the wiring. my lcd module came with pre installed/wired usb connection. might need an extra chip, flash it with whatever i want to display and let it run in loops. might work, i'll look for the solution.
