the download link given by weixuan is same as the download link in sony Malaysia. So I guess if you download today then it should be the official 1.

Added on October 15, 2010, 4:14 ambtw, can anyone tell me the difference between the CCTV Lens and the one by SLR Magic? Is it the same thing but with branding on it?

my fren asking if nex is worth moving away from a550 or not worr.....cos he wnat something light...and also sadly if he moves he have to sell his a550, flash + 16-105 and beercan

lanusb: I think your friend has to bear in mind what he essentially gives up for a lighter package, which is:
1) No equivalent flash like those on dslr
2) No steady shot unless used with e mount oss lenses
|

1. No Flash like SLR : Who needs when the Impressive ISO can handle it... dont even need a flash...
2. Yes no inside steady shots but you will get optical steady instead... works roughly the same... unless you use alpha mount lens... then yes no steady shots...
P/s : WOOHOO!!! Firmware V3 has released!!! now can support shortcut, Appreature for Video and!!!! Alpha lens can AUTO FOCUS!!!!!

ya. nex is a good choice to complement a dslr particularly when coupled with a wide angle lens with obvious reasons. u can do much more with a full dslr systems creatively by using the flash. not advisable to dump ur a550 by goin light unless u know what u will compromise by using juz a nex
