ZOMG DxO Optics Pro finally supports the NEX-3 and NEX-5!

You have no idea how long I've been waiting, since I paid for DxO Optics Pro Elite. Lightroom's a bit too clinical and takes away the wonderful Sony JPEG colors.

Finally bought me nex-3A with good bargain. Got it from Klang parade sony alpha shop. Package is, nex-3A will entitled rm700 rebate from RRP.  Meaning, 1,999-700 = 1,399. But w/o memory card. Good thing is it comes with additional 2 years warranty (1+2) and free alpha bag + screen protector. the sales guys recommend to take another lens (zoom) with additional rm800. But never take it due to budget. Took additional Sony battery, rm249 (rrp) Total still cost me less than 1,600.

Note: if only applicable to Nex-3A only. (33 unit perday). Started from 17-19 Dec.
Miss it on Friday, where all the nex and alpha product is discount 50% but for first 10 customer.
But I still wonder the 33 unit is just some attraction or real.

...when the sony support told me on the phone where my NEX had gone. I am starting to believe a few of the horror stories about bad Sony after sales service.

if their prime come out, think i will keep my dslr in drybox most of time...unless capture fast moving object or important event...

I got a chance to try out the 18200 at klcc sony center, i find that the 18200 focus is a bit slow (when zoom until max). Is this normal ? sorry, i have no knowledge on camera stuff 

Dang it. I got myself poisoned with NEX-5. Cannot tahan already, I'm supposed to wait for whatever next NEX

NEX-5C? Is there such thing? Yes NEX-5 is good enough. The SonyStyle fella said there will be a new lens. Perhaps I'd get a better lens kit.

NEX-5, is cheaper as compared to say on newly launch? Or the price just remain stagnant?

Thanks for the comment ! I still considering which lens to take as i only have 16mm with me currently, need a zoom lens for some shots    my friend suggests take the 1855 and wait for sony g lens out probably in 2012, but the 18200 seems very tempting, can zoom very far 

i think he mean slower focus when use 18200 lens especially when reach max zoom.. not mean nex is slow in focus 

Really? i played with it still find the speed is ok.. but slower than a55  but i love its colour production and so easily create bokeh yet the size is small tats why it attract me..   

If that so, i'm glad to hear that. But first things I should know is the term of ISO, shutter speed and so on and get use to it first IMO.
