Hi guys, my vintage Pentax takumar 55 f/2 just arrive! (actually i had to pick it up at the post process center).

Didn't thought it will arrive in 15 days from UK.

Now all i need is a M42 adapter grr!!! can't wait for that to arrive as well..
*
I am wondering about these lenses, since they are lenses for smaller sensors right? I was thinking about the IQ, whether it would better on Nex APS-C sensor? Or it's limited to the lens itself?

Regarding the adaptors, which one did u get? I heard it's netter to get the ones with aperture control right? Or just get the cheapest is fine?

Can any sifu enlighten me pls?

eugenechiuu: M42 lenses already have an aperture ring on the lens so you don't need an adapter that has an aperture ring on it. Also, most film lenses are larger than APS-C size so it's not a problem. Even the half-frame lenses (and film APS) cover almost exactly APS-C.
*
Thanks for the reply, so what u mean is m42 is around the same size as aps-c?
I am looking at the minolta rokkor mc/md lens, are they any good?

Regarding the Crumpler jimmy Bo, I am planning to get one jimmy Bo 400 online over here in UK, in their official website they only have colours like black, brown, navy and Bronze.. However, I search any other online sellers, everyone of them has black, brown, red n White for selections and selling for discounted prices also.. Does this mean all of them are fake? Even amazon?! I hope someone can enlighten me about this.. Because it's quite weird that Crumpler can let all of these sellers sell fake products..
