Hi all sifus and masters in bodybuilding.
Here's my problem.
Recently i found out my chest size are different. how different? well, left size mass smaller and right size mass bigger. and oso my abs have the same problem. the packs goes up and down. right size upper abit, and left size packs lower than right size.
I've asked my seniors in my campus, but they told me keep doing it, it will grow back to normal. i've tried for 3 months and nothing change but even serious.
Can anyone knows the cure? how i could balance them? What i should do to make them back to normal/even/balanced?
FYI, i din take any whey protein. i was wondering if i take whey protein from now on, will my chest grow balance/even?
Is there any exercise can help me out of this situation?

Your answers will be highly appreciated. thanks all. smile.gif

P/S: Attached pic is my current WEIRD body. Hope all sifus and master can help me. thanks. smile.gif

ur chest...
if u r using barbell, ditch them n change to using dumbbell.
say if ur right hand can do 30lbs while left hand can do 25lbs, then use 25lbs.
*
which mean i had to do the same same weight of each size?
if yes, i did. i do 20lbs of dumbbell press of both size. but i felt nothing changes. sad.gif
or u mean my left size shud be filled more weight than right size?

I have the chest problem too.
My right chest is smaller than the left one.
Try using dumbbells and add more weights on the weaker part.
*
thanks for the reply dude.
using dumbbell to do dumbbell press and add more weight on left size?
but my chest mass are obviously shown that left size are smaller than right.im afraid i workout more, it will go more serious and the mass wont grow larger. aint it?

QUOTE(ijnek @ Oct 1 2010, 02:34 PM)
no divine protein or supplement will help to correct the imbalance.
but i know hard work will in due time.
it worked for my arms biggrin.gif
*
i work hard on chest these days man. 5 times a week with 3 variations.

I took two months off from the bar and switched to dumbbells, but there was no improvement in the imbalance for my body. Right lat, chest, glutes, quads, calve are bigger than the left side. Difference is by about half an inch for most parts. I've also noticed that my right foot is longer than my left by half an inch, as well as my right rib cage appearing having less surface area than the left. I'm also left handed.

Although form and me being a newbie has not to be ignored in the equation, but I think a big part of it has to do with genetics too. I've come to accept this, though consciously try to focus my thoughts on how my left side is feeling when I lift (although when I lift I always feel my right side more, even when I'm doing dumbbell bench press).

I've tried pumping a few reps using dumbbells on my left side before going to the bench press. I get to feel my left side more as I'm benching when I do this. I'm not sure if this would work in leveling the imbalance, but personally I get the 'feel' for my left side when I do this. Haven't been doing this long enough to notice a difference. I know, it's bro science.

I can feel my right side of my shirt and pants being tighter than the right. Kinda uncomfortable. Though in your case it's even more obvious  blink.gif

edit: btw, an imbalance at the chest is quite common. just look around at muscle-y people. most of them have a little imbalance.
*
thanks for ur sharing dude.
so, my chest are very obvious in different size rite? any cure?
and do u tink its normal with a unbalance chest size when we're hitting to the beach? smile.gif

adding more weights on the weaker side is gonna exacerbate the problem even more. Picture this - left side of your musculature is stronger than the right side of your musculature ??

Just continue making good food choices (eating more dead animal flesh aka meat in your case), lift heavy things (relative to your capabilities) and stop worrying so much. U have a long way to go frankly.
*
thanks for ur precious advice dude. i'll noted down. anyway, i just started for 9 months from february, i slim down for 3 kgs and toned my body. i ll keep doing it. smile.gif

QUOTE(SilentSerpent @ Oct 1 2010, 09:34 PM)
i dont really see much imbalanced-ness there.
i think the only advice i can give is that just keep on training, there's not much else can be done anyway right?
besides, nobody has the same exact symmetry right?
good luck!
*
thanks for ur precious advice dude. yea, so true. nobody has the same exact symmetry. ill do my best in training. smile.gif

the weird part is, my right hand is stronger than my left hand. (during chest workouts i always fail on my left hand. like right hand still go can for few reps but left hand died.

however, it turns out my weaker arm side's chest is bigger than the stronger arms side. weird ._.
*
just like karma aint it? haha
well bro. im having weird situation but from the pro's advice, keep doing what u're doing it, u ll see the result eventually. smile.gif

training 3 times a week is better than 5 times as your muscles have more time to repair themselves and grow. Since you have only started recently, focus on bulking first, do heavy weights with low reps.

Once you got the mass, you can focus on toning them smile.gif
*
thanks for the advice dude.
anyway, bulking them means i nid to make them bigger 1st? wats ur suggestion in bulking them? wat i shud do or focus 1st?

QUOTE(law1777 @ Oct 3 2010, 05:09 PM)
two times on the same muscle group is far more than enough for a week!! 5 times means u only keep breaking down your muscles but never let it recover and rest.. too bad

and about the abs.. just google up for pictures of professional bodybuilders.. u can see all kinds of abs' shape, placement, grown and look
*
thanks for the advice dude.
noted ur advice. i will let my muscles had a good rest before i move on. smile.gif
