Just got scammed by the same guy but using different name. Phone no. Is the same. Whatsapp me and claimed that he has the mobo that I was looking for. Sent me pictures and seems convincing. We made a deal for RM130(surprised.. amount is the same as last post by @bobowyc) payment on the day of the deal and said he will send out the mobo after 2 days (monday) but now whatsapp never delivered and cant even call.

Claimed to be LYN forumer under the name willamette. I PM willamette here in LYN but replied claiming he is not Saw Beng Kuang. (Not sure its true or not.. maybe scam others to pay for another deals)

Cheked on LYN name willamette. Never had any sale post. Only replies in topics buying items.

Clearly he is the one who using ur nick name. not Us asking him to use ur name. and from what victims wrote here, we can clearly see that u ar not at fault. So, u have nothing to worries.

Wanted to deal with this guy but got a fishy feeling . .did account/name check turn out nothing, so played along and did a bank acc check after agree deal and found 2 source citing scamming (Lowyat and Facebook).

Did not deal with him at the end but just wanted to add on to the info since found this post.

Why our police is like no work 1.. Got account no, sure easy to get one. Since Feb got cases.

I just got scammed by this scumbag who sell gopro hero 4 silver edition at mudah for rm800. He said to cod at balik pulau white resort, penang. Since I am at kl, I trusted him to pos that to me, thinking if he willing cod, then it will be no problem to pos that to me.

After bank in, he give a lot of excuse to give me tracking number and finally switch off his phone. I've made a police report and then check his acc num with maybank (altho the officer refuse to give the info) she said that there's a few transction w the same amount at his acc.
