looks like its going our way at the moment. the second to fourth position are all level on 17 points, 5 points behind us.

we cannot be too carried away, a 5 point lead cant even save us if we lose two games, so the lads should continue the consistent run to keep the title.

i hope we can have a strong showing away and also maintain our fortress at home. losing and drawing too many away games will cost us.

yeah finally back to LYN..

well, it seems like Liverpool have slowly catching back their form n obviously its not a perfect time for us to meet them at Anfield in two weeks time. Nonetheless, five points is huge advantage for us.

Positive form the match, Malouda get his goal which should be regain his confidence. Josh as active as usual in midfield. Kalou did great after came from the bench. finally Bosingwa!! rclxms.gif

Negative, Drogba doh.gif he can do magnificent thing yet he can frustrated us with some silly decision rite?

5 points clear baby! what an icing on the cake, that just sweeten our weekend lads. its ironic because Arsenal eat Citeh for dinner, heck we just beat Arsenal recently. wink.gif

honestly, its a messy win for us. gotta give a credit where its due. Wolves, bring lots of headache to our defender. FloMo had a bad week, totally not at his best. however, Carlo did a brilliant subs by bring in Sala and Josh. they totally change the game and the 2nd goal from Sala was sweet! i think the missing of Super Frankie did some damage to our goal scoring fest. but, its a win nonetheless. i couldnt wish more than that!

i think you guys should cut the lads some slack. traveling to and back from moscow must have been tiring. as long as the lads get the job done, im good with 3 points anyday. i think Chelsea have set such a high standard that some of us wont take simple mistakes or bad days anymore. we are so accustomed to hockey scorelines that we forgot its not often that we can score huge number of goals all the time.

winning against liverpool at their best will definitely send a message to the rest of the title contenders. i am not too worried about liverpool.

We have quite a good record against Liverpool, don't we? brows.gif

But I think M.City tactics didn't work well with Arsenal's,maybe their tactics worked for them when against us,but Arsenal's tactics are different..and another thing is,they were down to 10-men,but I think a yellow would have been enough for Boyota already, save the red for De Jong.. laugh.gif

We were not in our standard since the departure of Lampsy. he's vital to our goal scoring fest, but that doesnt bother us as a fans at all. 3 points in the bag would be more than enough. other than that is a bonus, perhaps that could rise up our standard. in other news, Carlo break another Jose record!

"The champions have not conceded a league goal at Stamford Bridge for 781 minutes, eclipsing their 675-minute best, set in 2004-05."

Well, who doesn't?He damn deserve a yellow for at least every game that he plays doh.gif Not a single game goes without him making a rough tackle,as seen yesterday too,he tackled Fabregas, imagine if he got a red for that too, wala nod.gif And dun forget, that tackle on Ben Arfa and he escaped it..I like yesterday's referee,he was making the correct decision, unlike the referee that oversaw our game against M.City, that old man didn't even call fouls on some tackles that Manc player did..

boyata should have gotten red for the numerous challenges on Drogba the last time we visit city.

yes unfortunately, the ref left his spectacles at home.

sad.gif

But anyway, you noticed that most of the M.City fans left after Arsenal bang in 2 goals? laugh.gif It was like almost half-empty already, either they were embarassed/no mood to watch/or they weren't true fans(which I think is the case),true fans will stay and watch and hope for the best..

I was impressed at their crowd capacity at first, and their chants were darn loud, very intimidating, but after they were losing, haha, diff story,so quiet already, and most of them left in a hurry..

I guess they still need time..they ain't that gud yet..too many big egos..a big row between captain and manager somemore..u never heard of that kind of issues in our team,do you? laugh.gif

But,heck,who cares about them..

What's the next match anyway?Against Blackburn right?

well, there are rumours saying that our backbone players(cech, terry, lampard, ballack and drogba) are actually bigger than the coach.

i dont want to believe but its also hard to ignore. as long as both coach and player are in a good relationship, its all good. from reports, the lads regard ancelotti as one of their own. has to be a happy camp at cobham.

this is not a rumor.. Scolari told the media about this after he get sacked.. I think maybe during that time they can't adapt with the way Scolari coaching them.. So far, Jose, Hidding and CA did really well to gel our players together.. thus, I really feel that hap penned purely due to his own weakness..

yeah i guess you've got a point there. scolari wasnt doing that well anyways and i guess he didnt use the players properly. like training without the ball.

Raiding off Bale from Spurs for £25m. Impossible I'd say, especially coming from caughtoffside. laugh.gif Since is transfer window is opening soon, let's discuss. biggrin.gif

Hoping Turnbull + £4m for Asmir Begovic move can be done by January window open. I can't tell which area we're weak but we definitely need someone like Drogba to fill in when he's not available. Anyone you guys prefer to be our new target men? tongue.gif
