hmmm. maybe most of us schweinsteiger fans here thinks that schweiny is a better player than VDV. VDV might be so good at spurs because the play there revolves around him and if he is that good, madrid wouldnt have let him go?

its different when you purchase a good player because he can perform with other good players and the play does not just revolves around him.

*
really?? if schweinsteiger happened to go to real madrid, he might face the same consequences.. don't forget that ballack was the best player at bayern and germany and it took him 2 season to settle down here in london.. IMHO, VDV have the same quality as ballack, riquelme, gerrard who are considered as the best playmaker at their prime.. maybe not as good as zidane.. plus, his price is very cheap compared to others with his quality..

Whatever happen to our very own 'Chelsea Lab'? They could have spotted this a mile off but then again I don't think Benny will be missed much throughout this season (barring any major injuries to rest of the wingers that is!).

Anyhow, Bosingwa's return is a major plus!
*
yepp the seriousness of the injury is what worries me. the doctor who joined from milan labs specialised in injury prevention, so maybe he wasn't involved with the initial diagnosis. even so, it makes u wonder if he authorised benny to join up with his national team.

imagine if something similar happened to cech, right before the january transfer window slams shut? it could be a season-breaker right then and there! i do hope there are some internal inquiries going on, after this latest shambolic episode, because this should not happen at a club like chelsea. yes medics do make mistakes, but i see a worrying trend developing among our staff which must be addressed immediately.

great news on the boss, but if u recall he was also a player misdiagnosed with a 'short term' injury as well!

Chelsea sign Northampton Town youngster Michael Gyasi

welcome gyasi! another one joining our young hopefuls. they're sure quick to find di santo's replacement eh...sigh.

I still wonder why do we need schweinsteiger while we refuse to compete with spurs to sign van der vart at cut price?? kinda disappointed when we allowed a quality player like him to go to spurs at such price.. even, if we bid a bit higher (9-10M) that still a bargain..
*
the number one bargain for this current season, it has to be said. i don't think anyone will top that for some time to come, and hats off to harry for that. he made a calculated gamble which is paying off handsomely. who knew one of madrid's rejects (who didn't even play that often!) would find the premier league to be such a piece of cake.

the only department that we need urgent reinforcement is goalkeeping dept.. second to that is striker but that can wait since we still have didier and anelka on fire (i have no faith in kalou though).. we have plenty of backup for middie and defence are, don't think we need another expensive benchwarmer.. bear in mind that we have constantly making negative profit since past 6-7 years, and if we keep it like that, even abrahamovic will not be able to cover for us..

you have to understand that we are biased towards schweiny because we are schweiny fans.

i've already indicated that in my previous post nod.gif

its really awesome that Abramovich has poured so much money into the club and yet we're still not breaking even yet. which means he isnt actually making anything out from this club. notworthy.gif

Kalou is our supersub. If you do notice, so far this season, he scored everytime he came from the bench.

As for VDV, initially, RM wanted to let go of him at higher price. I think at that time MU is in advance negotiation. Then that broke down. During the last day, Spurs made 1 final offer, and RM accept that.

Eh eh, don't write of my Schweiny. never put him in a same sentence as VDV tongue.gif

imagine if our midfield was

Schweiny - Ess - Lampsy

so tempting.

whoa, this is awesome! while Ash/Bos bombarding up and down. epic. but we all know that we have very little chance to put them in a team.

Well, I prefer Ashley laugh.gif
Here's the video that I uploaded in youtube, it's BBC MOTD analysis for 28/08/10 Stoke match and it's about Ashley Cole.

Ash is the best! and i wonder why some still prefer Evra, he's past his prime unsure.gif

point accepted.. but regardless what, I think we should have faith in our youngsters.. its time for us to stop buying and begin to create talent.. yeay, we are not breaking yet for now.. but, just imagine if we keep buying like this and suddenly he left (bankrupt or whatever), what will happened to us?? completely wrecked..

yeah. most prolly we'll be in liverpool's condition right now. i seriously hope Roman owns Chelsea until this last breath!

after looking at what liverpool is going through, i dont mind if we can be like arsenal. making money and playing decent football.

but thats all for the future if Roman decides not to pour in money from his own pocket. for now, we're firing on all cylinders and winning silverware!

CHELSEA! CHELSEA!

i cant believe you guys are so hyped up about lahm. yes he is young but in my eyes, i still think no one can replace ashley cole. yet.

the next left back i think whos good is evra but it seems that his performance is rather crappy as of late.

ashley cole is the best left back in the world and he isnt hanging up his boots yet. i hope he hangs up his boots as Chelsea player.

podolski and schweinsteiger, i like laugh.gif

Added on October 15, 2010, 10:45 ami hope if bruma gets a chance tomorrow, he can perform really well. villa has very dangerous forwards.

If Lahm here..he will take RB..

QUOTE(madfag @ Oct 15 2010, 01:05 PM)
schweinsteiger is a very good play maker. he's shown that in the world cup and for bayern last season.

anyone knows the reason for bayern's slump so far this season? how can a team whos majority of players played in the world cup semis and champions league play so bad this season? fatigue?
*
Yap..and bayern got another one just like him..Toni Kroos...

From official website...seems not good for us blink.gif

DROGBA OUT, TERRY IN

Didier Drogba will miss the weekend's game against Aston Villa due to a fever, joining Frank Lampard on the sidelines.

John Terry is available after missing England's game in midweek, but four others also miss out.

'Frank Lampard is not available, Drogba is not available, Sturridge is not available, Kalou is not available, Alex is not available, Benayoun is not available, shocking.gif cry.gif Terry is available,' reported manager Carlo Ancelotti, who also named his line-up for the game at Villa Park.

'The line-up will be Cech, Ferreira, Ivanovic, Terry and Cole, Ramires, Essien and Mikel, strikers Kakuta, Malouda and Anelka.'

There will also be a place on the bench for Jose Bosingwa, who has missed a year with a knee injury, a small consolation for a squad bereft of last season's two top scorers.

'[Lampard] is getting better but he needs to have some weeks again, maybe two weeks to be fit 100 percent, he had a problem on his adductor and we have to pay attention. He is working individually and needs two weeks again,' Ancelotti explained.

'Drogba had a fever this week and was not able to train, he started today but is not fit. He took antibiotics in the last days and needs to train next week and I'll know if he is available for the game in the Champions League.

'Alex may be available next week and also Kalou will surely be available for the Champions League, and Sturridge needs days of recovery.'

Hope that 3 points for us in away game whistling.gif

Aston Villa is now under Houllier, their attacking style play make me worry.
Luckily Terry is back.
I can't wait to see Ramires and Kakuta!
