I prefer Anelka in middle, Malouda and Drogba allowed to run wide .

No offense to Spurs fans, but IMo Spurs central defenders are strong( bassong, gallas,) but not intelligent enough to handle Nico.

Whereas in Left back, Assou Ekoto can easily get outrunned/muscled by Drog . In fact if Drogba run to right side, Bale must help cover back wings.

As for right back, Hutton is their main weakness in defense, so if Malouda + A.Cole can get their acts right, Spurs will be in trouble

And dude,Spurs are great in attacking, but they are equally leaking in defence too,so we MUST score a few goals,AND defend well too

Nah..

Ramires will be playing in Midfield on Sunday.

Based on CA press conference, it would be Cech, Ferreira, Terry, Ivanovic, Cole, Essien, Mikel, Ramires, Malouda, Drogba, Anelka

Hahah thanks! Made it in the space of few minutes. xD The price quite affordable, maybe I should consider. tongue.gif Actually I'd prefer Lampard to start against Tottenham so that he's know where he at in terms of fitness level before going against Man Utd.

Rafael van der Vaart has been ruled out of Tottenham's clash with Chelsea on Sunday because of injury.

Van der Vaart has made a huge impact since making a summer move from Real Madrid, but fitness has been a problem.

He limped off early on in the 2-1 win over Liverpool on November 28 and has not featured since. He was said to be in contention for the midweek Champions League clash with Twente, but he remained on the sidelines and is still struggling with a hamstring injury.

Harry Redknapp had hoped to bring him back against Chelsea, but the midfielder has failed to respond to treatment and Spurs will go into the derby without one of their most potent creative forces.

Luka Modric, though, will be available again after recovering from the illness that kept him out of the draw with Twente.

First-team coach Joe Jordan said: "Luka's okay. He trained on Wednesday and it was just a safety precaution (at Twente) because he was feeling the effects of a bug."

Jordan also confirmed that Younes Kaboul would return to training and was in contention for inclusion on Sunday, but Niko Kranjcar and Jermaine Jenas are out.

"It's disappointing for JJ," Jordan said. "He's had a recurrence of his calf injury, so he's not in the running for Chelsea."

You too T A M A K. tongue.gif I really doubt A.Madrid going to sell him anytime soon unless they face financial crisis. :/ I think he should be able to work with Drogba since he's around Ramires' body size. Can thought players without much effort. biggrin.gif

Err, have you forgotten that Gallas is an ex-Blues? smile.gif He's a solid CB, mind you.

I think you didn't finish his sentence. Yes Gallas is a solid CB without a single doubt but he's stubborn at times. So hopefully he'll be the bad side of his when we face spurs. tongue.gif
