Gemas-JB, don't know when will start, i need wait for Budget 2011.

KL-Singapore high speed rail, if one way is around RM 1xx to RM 200, then it can stand a chance.

thing is wat i am trying to say~ its not the speeding that kills~ its the driving attitude~ just look at high speed autobahn in germany~ and they still have much lower accident/death rate than us here with 110kmh speed limit only. smile.gif

Autobahn is better quality than in Malaysia.

Malaysian highways are comparable to autostrade in Italy.

The thing I want to say is, because of the condition of the highway, and how drivers are in Malaysia, people are accustomed to 110km/h. If you're driving faster than the others, you are disrupting the flow of the highway (so is driving slower on the highway). This leads to a ripple effect that can either cause accidents or cause jams. Though, speeding is likely to cause accidents and slowing down is likely to cause jams.

If everyone is travelling at 160-180km/h, then you travelling at that speed is fine.

Anyways, I rest my case. If you still want to speed because of reasons known to yourself, fine. I can't stop anyone from speeding. Just let one thought linger in your head (what if accidents happened, and I killed someone dear because of it)

its not just about the road quality~ many who speeding and killed themself are exceeding their car and driver's skill capability~ the diver fail to judge driving defensively when you speed according to situation on the spot such as weather, road conditions, traffics, your own vehicle capability, understanding of your vehicle wear and tear parts, driver's concentration & reflex and etc put into the equation~ many just speed blindly and that's when shit happens~

It's not the speed that kills, its how judgment from other people gets impaired when you speed (from the ripple effect). When there's an accident, it's usually because of two cars, and the most probable situation is that the other car fails to react because of your speed.

Edit: Man, you're not the only car on the road, just wanted to put that forward. You may be super experienced and super smart and super whatever, but other people might not be. You have to take that into account when driving.
