Supposed to be 2 hours right? I drive from Penang to KL ~ 4hours

Impossible, I always drive from Penang to Ipoh and stop at Ipoh (Simpang Pulai ~ 2 hours later) then continue on to KL about another 2 hours :S

Following my GPS, it's about 360km from Penang to KL

If Ipoh is halfway, you do the calculations

Edit: 360km from Penang to Klang (so to KL, just minus around 20-30km)

Wishes (even death wishes) come to you when you least expect it... by that time, cry, regret, suicide also won't change the situation

The thing I want to say is, because of the condition of the highway, and how drivers are in Malaysia, people are accustomed to 110km/h. If you're driving faster than the others, you are disrupting the flow of the highway (so is driving slower on the highway). This leads to a ripple effect that can either cause accidents or cause jams. Though, speeding is likely to cause accidents and slowing down is likely to cause jams.

If everyone is travelling at 160-180km/h, then you travelling at that speed is fine.

Anyways, I rest my case. If you still want to speed because of reasons known to yourself, fine. I can't stop anyone from speeding. Just let one thought linger in your head (what if accidents happened, and I killed someone dear because of it)

It's not the speed that kills, its how judgment from other people gets impaired when you speed (from the ripple effect). When there's an accident, it's usually because of two cars, and the most probable situation is that the other car fails to react because of your speed.

Edit: Man, you're not the only car on the road, just wanted to put that forward. You may be super experienced and super smart and super whatever, but other people might not be. You have to take that into account when driving.

Hi Fatality..

Yeah Just wanted to advise people not to speed or do reckless things on the road. You can account for your own skills and capabilities, but you can't predict what other people might do if your are not following the norms of driving.

Just like driving in the US (which is much safer, thus I tend to drive more defensively rather than driving agressively, which is a necessity if you're driving in KL)

When I came back, I totally got balled up because I got used to driving more defensively, hence I had to relearn.
