Rite now, playbook don't have native BBM and only can bridge BBM from bb.
Mybe after bb10 official launch, playbook will own BBM and only need wifi to use it.. drool.gif

Yep everything in BB need BIS to work. Basically the PB will mirror what you see on the phone screen. So if you are surfing on PB it is actually surfing on your phone but the screen use PB. So the BIS used is your existing phone. Which is why no need to separate 3G line for the PB. The data used for the BB is compressed so you will save on data. 250mb i have never exceeded.

Of course native apps on the PB will still work with wifi ie browsing, emails etc. When no wifi that is when i bridge it.

Yep have to be connected to BT all the time via BB Bridge. Browsing and multi tasking is fantasic on the PB. i sometimes don't even bring my Mac anymore to the office. i just connect the PB via HDMI to external monitor, bridge the devices and i can do all the work i want.

Hope this helps

Nope, dropbox apps already available in app world, but only for bb smartphone.

Box give 50gb free additional space for playbook user. biggrin.gif

Mind enlighten me what kind of "box" you are mentioning?

IF not available directly available for the playbook, the BB bridge can get the files i want from dropbox through my BB9500?

Thank You.
