Ah... Same situation as mine. I did post it recently. The USB port spoiled. Seems like it’s not a rare case after all. Go google around and you will see.

I did send mine to Mobile Doctor (or Clinic or something) at Lowyat Plaza. 2nd floor. The guy get the job done eventhough he had to modify it since they couldn’t find the original usb port. The guy said our playbook uses the same usb port as 9360 and it is quite new, so it is hard to find. Plus it was around Chinese New Year that time so... I don’t know. Maybe you can try. It costed me RM150.

i know why, i used to have this problem. you need to google "jump start blackberry playbook". Coz you didnt charge your playbook for a very long time, thus it drains ur battery to zero without backup power for startup.
