fragster.de interviewed WCG-CEO Hyoung Seok Kim about several points regarding the World Cyber Games. Besides a bunch of interesting facts Mr. Kim gives some inside into the process of how WCG-Games are chosen and to a question related to Starcraft:Broodwar he says something that gives hope to all the broodwar-Fans out there.

fragster: Seems to be the last time, that Starcraft: Broodwar and Warcraft 3 are part of the WCG?

Hyoung Seok Kim: We haven't decided this yet. So Starcraft: Broodwar and Warcraft 3 might be part of WCG in the next year, there hasn't been made a decision yet. We select the new game titles every year and we announce this in an early time of a year. So as we have Starcraft II now, we should consider if we add SCII to SC:BW – or if we get Starcraft II only. We will start up our internal process, having opinions from the game community, having a poll on our website and gathering all information from gamers and the market. Then we decide, which game title will be an optional game title for the next year. So there is still the possibility to see Starcraft: Broodwar and Starcraft II together – or maybe only one of them. And Warcraft 3 ... might be continued.

- "They are unstoppable," says White-Ra and adds that he sees a Korean terran player win, which would mean Lee "Flash" Young Ho taking the gold.

White-Ra believes that this is the last time we will see StarCraft: Brood War in the World Cyber Games, and that StarCraft II will take over.

- "I think it will. StarCraft 2 is several times more popular than SC:BW now," says White-Ra.
