Wish to ask , Which Media player Support Time skip / time shift ?

time forward / Backward waste my time a lot

So if anyone uses which Type of Media player that can support time skip , please List down

Preferrable on Famous Branded Brand . China Brand Hard to get updates from websites.

Well, you can always go for Dune..

It supports FF / RW...at variable speeds, 10 sec, 1 minute, 10 minute skip + also time search....all you ever needed and more

I think most brand support this, I always think A.C. Ryan is the best. But just my opinion.

The DUNE player seems overprice for me , my budget around 500


Branded brand like Western Digital DO NOT support . A.C Ryan Support time skip ?

Realtek 1073 chipset player can. (hdpro , acryan , more..... )

It's actually supported, just need to install 'MediaNavigation' plugin to seek time.

Yep dune is great, too bad bout the budget.

sorry , i wonder how to install the MEdia Navigation Software into the WD HD TV Machine ?

First thing you need is to install custom firmware by b-rad.
Download the plugins and placed them in '.wdtvext-plugin' folder of your USB drive
and attached it to WDTV, reboot the player to get the plugins detected to enable them and restart again
Probably a little hard to describe when you don't have the player yet

I picked WDTV Live because of the extra features it has like
downloading stuff from filehost(netload/mu/rs/others), movie sheets(displays poster+fanart+movie information)
and other function that can be added by installing plugins/apps (weather forecast, subtitle search etc).

Xtreamer Pro can do it.. I have tried it and it works...

With RM500, there are alot of choices out there. ACRyan "conform" can time shift. There's a "goto" function on the remote for this purpose

Realtek 1073 base player all can. don't need spent to0 much

If wanna get realtek..get those with the latest chips..I think Yangxi knows best....ACRyan, mede8er are a bit old models.
