Tomz, Turion64, we are in the same boat, I threw a big fuss on Sat, asking stupid questions like "how do I know when the line is active?" which when I asked from the vague staff manning the payment counter up to the some senior Digi staff revealed that they will key in the details MANUALLY.
With the answers they gave me, I made similar calls on Mon (said 24hrs activated but not done), Tuesday (threw a very big fuss; again was told 24hrs activated) and Wedsday lunch hour (last night) to reveal my number was in the system and the request to port was made. Last night's little language glitch also gave me the opportunity to double check and confirm that the rebate and my credit card details are in as well.
So yes, we made our "payments" on Sat, but I bet on Julia Robert's pretty smile that the pool of names were not keyed into the system until a few days later.
MINI-UPDATE 5: My previous post at page 10,14,25. finally my no is ported but was told to wait 1st Oct before my plan I selected (iDigi88, RM58 monthly) is activated. Bastards.

During the temporary 7days Mnp plan :
-The call charges is still the same, there is RM0.15 per minute, RM0.10 per sms and the data services we give you for 500MB.
-This temporary plan have a expiry date for 7 days, so we giving you free 500MB data usage within the 7 days
