Midfield should be Kuyt, Meireles, Gerrard, Cole, Jova..Let Jova and Kuyt provide the width..Gerrard should play behind Cole who should play behind Torres..I believe that's Cole's best position..He seems lost when deployed on the left wing..But then again, Torres really needs a striking partner up there with him. He seems really frustrated when alone upfront..

Yeah, we should be winning against teams like Blackpool, especially at home. And we certainly need to improve on building up the attacking play. No more unnecessary long balls! Especially when Torres is more or less alone upfront. It's never gonna work. RH needs the team to pass the ball to the feet more often. Aerial route is not the way to go.

RH is so defensive minded when we clearly need to score goals.

I'm sorry but to those here who are Liverpool fans that said "relax la, it's only seven games" or "chill la, must give the team some time"; that's all BS. There's more than enough games played already and we can't even get tactics right, play decent football or score more than goal in games. Watching them play these days is just a very suffering ordeal. It's mental torture. I can't believe how bad the team is playing at the moment. Worst part is we are in the relegation zone. It's October already for goodness sake! We should at least be in the top 10 even though we had a tough start. Never in my life as a Liverpool supporter I'd witness the team that I love go from 2 Champions League finals in 3 seasons to struggling to even win games in the league against promoted clubs at home.

Top 4??? Not even in my wildest dreams right now, especially with how the team plays at the moment. Top 10 seems plausible. RH better get this sh*t sorted out during the international break or else he'll just prove he can't manage a club with Liverpool's stature, demands, and expectations.

There's a difference between venting frustration and insulting, and it's pretty obvious that what you quoted are Liverpool fans venting their frustrations. And no, I don't think it's right to swear in this thread but I also don't think there's a need for you to insult the club. Please go Google the meaning of "double standard" before you accuse me of having double standards.

I hope all these takeover drama that has been going on for the past 24 hours and what will come in the next week or so won't affect the team's performance on the pitch. The team is already in bad shape and losing the Merseyside derby next weekend would be the last thing the team needs right now.

You're kidding right? Putting 2 CB on fullback positions won't help at all. Johnson needs a rest to clear his messy game right now. Kelly should be given every chance to start some games in the league. LB - Konchesky is so-so, Aurelio is always injured, Insua on loan, and Agger doesn't fit the position well enough. It's quite a problem then..

Yeah, I hope he'll not be deployed on the wing, too. I'd rather see someone with pace on the flanks. Maybe Babel and Jova, with Meireles, Gerrard and Cole in the middle. But to me, Jova hasn't impressed me all that much yet. Babel hasn't got enough chances to prove his worth since RH came on board.

Better Johnson not starting. He's not performing well. But Carra at RB is also a liability. Should have put Kelly instead. And Lucas is better than Poulsen anyway. But still, this is a defensive line-up.

I agree. Torres CANNOT play alone upfront. We need fast wingers that can penetrate defences. Jova and Babel did OK when they came on but that was when Everton were sitting back already. Maxi and Cole did absolutely nothing today.

It seems to me RH doesn't have any ideas whatsoever when the team's in trouble. Just look at him today. After going 2-0 down it took him 20 mins to make a change. Is it not obvious to him that his tactics weren't working already? He just gave his "pensive" look for that 20 mins. To me, it's a "I-don't-know-what-to-do" look. He's absolutely clueless on how to make things work within the squad. It's about time RH realizes Torres alone upfront is not effective - especially with the poor service he's receiving this season. If he still uses the same formation for the upcoming games, Liverpool are so doomed. (as if things weren't bad enough already)
