Yes it runs really nicely on 720mhz. You can make it even faster by going all the way to 1.2Ghz.

If you mean raw performance, see the benchmarks also know who win d lol... Thing is in the user interface the performance is more or less the same. Plus you get a unscratchable screen and a camera that does not get blur especially when xenon is used.

Sense UI is the trademark HTC interface. You know, the one with the big flip clock.
But that actually makes the phone slower. Not very obvious but it does make it lag sometimes. I got rid of sense and flashed n1 rom 2 days after i got my desire lol. The processor is more or less the same actually. Not much of a diff unless you care about benchmarks. Same thing goes for ram. This post has been edited by Calex: Nov 22 2010, 05:03 PM |

Lag when take photo? You mean desire? Are you referring to lag as in blur pic or few sec then take pic?

Best and safest is to reformatt everything again and start over.
To make steps very simple : Flash rom again. Reformat and partition your sd card again. Put the 'apps2sd' folder into root of sdcard, insert into phone and boot. Make sure you have wifi or internet access. Download astro file manager from market. Use that to open universal androot and press root. Now plug in phone through usb, change mode to charge only, and on usb debugging. Open cmd and type adb devices, if your device found, type adb shell. Then make sure your phone screen is unlocked first (at homescreen). If it is, type su. Superuser should pop up and ask by then, then press allow. Then type cd /sdcard/apps2sd Then type sh install.sh By now you're in the script. Install all you like then press 0 to reboot when done. |

Alot of things actually. That problem happened to me when either i didn't partition ext3 properly or I already applied app2sd before.
Btw, we end up like MOTOHELP lol. Helpdesk for motorola android |

Yup, its because xt's hd recording has much more compression compared to the one on sgs.
I did a comparison sometime ago, my old Omnia HD was one of the worst lol. Compression is not bad, but audio quality horrible. That time compare with SE vivaz. Vivaz much better, but file bloody big. Around 130mb+ for only one minute something of video. Added on November 23, 2010, 5:11 pm QUOTE(progenx @ Nov 23 2010, 05:06 PM) khalpowers, may i know where to get the drop blue theme for metamorph? i need direct link. can i apply any of the custom themes on the OP with metamorph too? Themes on OP use method as mentioned in post, those don't support metamorph. Drop blue theme is linked somewhere in the thread. Search for it. Well, Id sure love some froyo goodness for xt.
Problem is while editing build prop and all might port it from milestone, the camera might be the biggest issue to port. |

One question,
How you guys actually mod themes and stuff? Mod as in modifying theme not just changing theme. Mind teaching me how? I might be able to contribute someday. |

Phone comparison. Again.
Well, the n8 is better in hardware actually. But changing to xt wont be much of an upgrade at all. Heck, xt cost cheaper than n8 la. Being very honest, I suggest you wait for the new milestone 2 if you got a thing for moto. But if the Xenon flash is really important for you, there's no other phone to recommend other than xt. |
