[Q&A] if someone scam your money, what will police do...

SMS and police is a messy issue. At one time, someone I know was asked to prove (written prove) that he received said sms (how to prove? I have no idea) before the police here will do any document filing. Bringing the handset containing the sms itself isn't enough I guess.i have general question about scam, i'll like used your experience. here's the chronology :

Then again, the police department over at my place is kind of questionable, so you might have better luck than that person.
