The name of the shop ... If I can remember it correctly, it starts with the letter 'H' or 'Hiro' or something. It's just next to a videogame shop. The IT center I'm referring to is at the top floor in the old block. The one where alot of Ah Beng technicians kept asking 'yes?' whenever you walk by. It's not inside. Just right outside the IT center.

Anyway, if anyone wants to know how's the video is like in various conditions (eg: low light, close up, indoor, outdoor), do let me know and I can do a sample. Capturing is easy. Uploading is hard. The sample video of me driving along a residential area took almost an hour to upload. By the way, the audio capture is rather clear. I even got flagged by YouTube for uploading a copyright music because I was playing a CD when I did the video capture.

yep, for touch the hd recording's exposure isn't very stable, takes time to adjust to the light outside while iphone is constant.
i noticed some jumps in the frame rate in your youtube link, is it because of compression? or does it even jump in raw uncompressed format in ur pc?

by the way, does that shop only have 1 type of casing model? and what was the model of the case and screen protector you bought?

The iPod touch 4G is pretty amazing for less than 1/2 the price of the iPhone 4 equivalent. All the features you want but without the price.

For 4g Fans those who r still waiting release... i get news from machines that they said is coming VERY VERY soon, and possible next week... btw... wish that information is accurate (any false information don blame me)

The original video doesn't have any jumps. Too bad I couldn't retest it again to confirm coz' already deleted the actual file. Anyway, the initial video format was MOV. I just let YouTube convert it for me, I didn't use any software to pre-convert it first.

There's one dude in the internet who made a great comparison between the Phone and the Pod. The difference is HUGE. Oh, btw, the Pod photo camera is bad ... really bad ... but who cares about photos when you have video ...

Was thinking of getting the Phone instead but these few facts made me avoid the iPone:
- I had to pay over RM2000 even for 2 year telco contract. Singapore only pay SG$300.
- Malaysia 3G is slow and has a usage quota. Singapore has quota but it's over 12GB.

Ok, I'll stop the iPhone rant here. Getting out of topic in this section.

Oh, as for the question regarding the screen protector. I didn't really get any well known brand. It's just a RM68 thingy which I believe is made in China or something. In just one week, I have two obvious scratch marks behind my Pod. I had to simply get something to temporarily shield it before I create prehistoric drawings behind the Pod. RM68 is a good buy. There's a clear screen protector, rubber casing, vertical/horizontal stand and belt pouch.

I don't think next week. Will probably be end October or early November but will definitely be in time for Christmas...... so you can buy this iPod Touch 4G for yourself as X'mas present, nice!

Does any 1 know when Ipod Touch 4g will be able to purchase at store? the apple web store require 4-5 weeks on delivery. I am new to apply, plan to test Ipod touch 4g 32 gb version insteat of iphone as the investment will be cheaper....
