you phone is what phone? if andriod 2.2 can do that.... anyway go google your phone model and see can make it into wifi hotspot or not.

Yeah went to Dubai duty free and saw that the Ipad is still way too expensive at RM5000, but ipod touch price is little more than in malaysia, not so much different. So I've bought one (64 gigs).. hurayyyyyy!! Compared to Europe (399 euro), Malaysian and Dubai prices for ipod touch 64 gb are significantly cheaper.

Hmm...I suspect they have pre-allocated a bunch of Ipods for engraving (hence the difference in part number) and there's more supply of these compared with the non-engraved ones, which would be probably be the same as those being shipped to the resellers (e.g. Machines). I guess that's why the lead time for engraved Ipods
is so much shorter than the non-engraved ones.

If you guys are following FB feeds from Mac City, the new iPods are available right now for 8GB and 32GB, but units are limited.

And don't ask me anymore than I know, I don't work for them... Ignore this if it has been mentioned before in this thread.

Was in mac city just now.new ipod touch got there but still not displayed. Just giving a heads up for u guys! I planned to buy for sister but later decided to get her the iPhone instead.

try getting the engraved one..i cancelled my previous order and ordered a new one (the personalized 1) as it really shortens the delivery time frame by alot! nw its 6/10 - 12/10

Engraving will lose resale value. Next year when u want to sell the price drop because the engraving may not suit future buyer.

this i wont worry,coz wont sell anymore,+ i dun like selling it,coz year after year apple sure release new stuff,so old one would drop price. so for me,i feel that its not worth for me to sell it. Summore its for my gf, if she wanna sell ,then i would b very sad,so its preventing her to sell also,hahaha
