To tell you the truth internal audit isnt so bad in the sense that you are not stuck in one office. I used to work with UOB and travelling was quite fun as you get to see places as well.

The other good thing is that you meet many different people and yes the job can be quite dull as it involves checking loan documents etc. Operations in banking is also dull as you may be in charge of certain sectionsd like current account etc.

i wud recommend you to check the benefits offered.. as i think this AML is not under the bank. its under some of their subsidiaries that is considered not a bank. so u wont enjoy the benefit of a bank staff..  check with PBB on hows their arrangements ?

Hmm should have read this sooner, but I've already accepted an offer fr citigroup for AML. Was disappointed with the annual leave though. Was told 20 days by interviewer, but when I signed the offer letter was only 17 days... Anyone working there can give me a heads up of what its like? I'll be joining there end of this month. However for future career sake, citigroup is held in a higher regard compared to pb. Usually most big international corporations are. So if ur especially thinking of migrating in the future, citigroup would be the best choice.

And citibank is under citigroup, not the other way round
