Guys, this isn't way out of topic, but its along the same lines (because ya'll sound very experienced here and I am not):

How do I get a temp job at one of these banks or their subsidiaries? I've already tried emailing their HR emails, how long should it take for them to respond, or does that mean I failed 9/10 (The last time I tried getting a placement thru email, 1 replied (got it), 1 called back after a couple emails to decline, the 3rd never replied).

Or should I just call them at one of their numbers?
I'm a student finishing A levels, so I want to start in Jan 2011 and I know they are hiring now for that time. But temp staff should get hired quick.
