QUOTE(soapkeong @ Jun 8 2011, 10:44 AM) Haha.. impossible take off spare tires .... Means if I able to get a light rim then is advisable to upgrade? Sure will add K&N filter later.. hehe.. any advice or suggestion to mode become better performance or comfort? go ahead bro .happy hunting . light weight 17" provide georgoeus looks but not compromise the performance. ask Mr Mania bro..tweak ur ECU for better performance. I prefer comfort rather to performance .

If i bought 2.0 .I was thinking to downgrade to 16" .why? coz I prefer comfort plus extra performance rather than looks.
hope I will get a good news from Bermaz later..

QUOTE(soapkeong @ Jun 8 2011, 06:40 PM) DId you test drive first? maybe you will feel comfortable?? my living + working got so many bumpers that why I prefer more comfort ride. tested 16" and felt really comfortable. my wife don;t like sitting in caldina due to low profile tires so it bit harsh ride for her. she will be siting at rear seat with my son so comfort is a must. tested 2.0 before but that area got no bumper at all , so hard to judge the outcome.

IMHO,
There is no different to sport or non sport on mazda 3 .just look at mazda 3 2010 model. Bermaz just put " sport" on CBU and GL//GLS for CKD unit. It was same model with only minor diff on specs only.
maybe by adding leather seat or bodykit does mean those mazda is called sport version.
All mazda 3 have dynamic driving pleasure what ever 'word' been carried.

QUOTE(onyxzoom @ Jun 14 2011, 08:00 PM) It doesn't really matter. The ECU will adapt to the new flowrate of air eventually. If u wan it to adapt more quickly, go whack on the highway after drop-in. Rev till 6k rpm. Similar to calibration (put in P and rev 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k, 6k, holding at each rpm for 5-7seconds, then rev from idle to 6k quickly). In my opinion, juz go highway and whack nicely. U will at least enjoy burning the petrol. that what I saw when Mr mania calibrate the ecu on my ride.I saw him turn on the key ignition few times then rev the engine.but hesitated to ask what he doing actually. good info bro
