Oh...so now my speaker and monitor is connected to my rig.

To fix it,i need to connect the Ps3 and my rig to the HDMI switcher.

PS3 ---->HDMI switcher<-----My gaming rig

HDMI switcher----->Monitor<----Speaker

Yes,it's a red and white connection.That's y i pening coz how to plug in 2 cables into 1 single 3.5mm jack audio port.

How much does a HDMI switcher and Y-splitter cost?Eh,i got another option.Instead of using HDMI switcher,i can use DVI cable to connect my rig to my monitor,and then HDMI cable to connect my Ps3 to my monitor since my monitor has 2 ports.Possible?

I see...like that i can save 50 bucks since i got DVI cable adi.All i need to do is to buy Y-splitter to connect my speakers to my monitor,DVI cable for my gaming rig and monitor and then finally the HDMI cable to my monitor. biggrin.gif

Oh yea,i got another question.

The Y-splitter will combine both my red and white cable from my speaker to connect to the audio jack in the monitor...but how about my gaming rig?Still got sound because now my red and white cable from the speaker is connecting to my gaming rig.I dont really understand it...let me show u guys a picture.

See the place where i circle in blue.My speaker got 2 red and white cables...1 pair of red and white is from my base to speaker,then 1 pair is from my base to the gaming rig.But in the picture,the red and white cable from Ps3 connect to the Y-splitter.Then the Y-splitter connect to?

That picture is not mine.I quoted from the first page.I seldom at home coz i am studying at university,so cant play Ps3 with the HD TV.

My gaming desktop is in my hometown.I am currently at USM,Penang. smile.gif

I roughly describe from wat i remember last time i bought it...got 2 pairs of red and white cables.1 pair of red and white cable connect both my base(volume control) and speakers.Then the another pair connect both my gaming rig and my base(volume control).I try draw a bit hehe...

Therefore,my base(volume control box) got 4 audio port.2 white and 2 red.

Eh guys i wanna ask something.I knew that not every game need to install to the internal hard disk,u can juz play when u put in the blue ray disc but can i choose to install it to the internal hard disk for every game?

U r the same with me.They recommended me DVI cable to connect the gaming rig and monitor while HDMI cable for Ps3 and monitor.Then use AV switch and Y-splitter to switch between speaker for both Ps3 and pc.

actually u got 2 option

1. use the HDMI switcher
2. just split the audio cable from speaker..1 connect to OUTput port at the monitor and another one to pc sound card as usual

Mr.Itik..XD I dunno,some ppl recommend me for the AV switch coz my speaker uses white and red cables.Not enuf cables for both Ps3 and gaming rig/sound card.Wat is a splitter?Any picture?
