HDMI is digital. It doesn't matter if your cable is gold plated or "monster" type. All HDMI cable will give you the same result.

manually set your video settings and see if 1080p can be ticked on or not. if can and your tv still blank, chances are that movie and your tv is not compatible.

there was a similar problem like this a year ago with FF Advent Children when many people's tv cannot play it.

you should also take note that certain movies will only play in 1080p. so if your tv can't see anything that means you need a FULLHD tv to play it.

as i said before, certain movies have compatibility problems with certain tv models. unfortunately, it seems like your tv is one of them.

either that, or your tv got some other technical problem....

i bought mine at sony style. it's better to walk in their store and buy your ps3 there then order online and wait 14 days....

i doubt you can get a phat casing anymore because the phat ps3 has been out of production for more then a year.

perhaps you could buy some guy's ylod phat ps3 just for the casing... sweat.gif

it is SG set...and not sealed.... normally if buy from game shop...is the box sealed??

if you buy ps3 my set from sony style, the box is sealed.

if you buy sg set from conman shop, the box is usually not sealed.

you cannot register sg set for warranty in malaysia.

next time be smart and buy your ps3 from sony malaysia... whistling.gif

how to advise you when you already bought it from conman shop? if you believe it to be fake, then take it back to conman shop and demand they replace it with original DS3 controller.

why did you buy from some lousy conman shop in the first place instead of buying from Sony or from truster sellers here?

so now i read through this thread...shahreza mentioned bout the SONY print on the controller is now more light compare to previous version... somehow this is the only biggest diff i can compare with original and fake... so, physically is there any other diff that can differentiate fake and original controller...

some fake controllers will not work with ps3 after updating to the latest firmware.
