hi all,

i got problem with my ps3 slim 320gb.

i left my ps3 for few days  due to CNY celebration, and now, when i switch it on, after around 5mins, it auto shut down.

please assist me as i unable to swicth it on back. but i can put it on stand by mode which is red light, once i press on, and it turns green, it will auto shut down

auto shut down = possible semi ylod symptom

if ur slim is still under warranty then u might wanna send it to sony service center for further diagnostic...

guys now i have an old fat US ps3 with 4usb ports. and this lately poisoned by GT5 bundle ps3 slim!! is there any big difference between them??

all phat have a risk of YLOD while slim almost can say NONE...slim have better CPU architecture..so it is cooler than previous CPU..but fat got extra 2 usb slot than slim..donno why Sony only reduce the port

Only the first generation ps3, ie 20GB & 60GB got 4 usb port. later fat models only have 2 usb ports.

my 80gb US ps3 fat got 4ports. can play ps1 n ps2 games

really? i thought only 20gb & 60gb got 4 ports.

if im not mistaken 20 and 40gb have 2 ports..mine is a 40,and only have 2.while the 60 and 80gb have 4

If i am not mistaken, when ps3 was first launched with 20GB model, it also got 4 usb ports.

The 40GB model only have 2 and I used to have one before I replaced it with a slim ps3.

yes, when ps3 first launched with 20GB & 60GB, both models came with 4 usb ports.

back then, they were really expensive.

MGS bundle ps3 fat with two ds3 cost me rm2k bck in 2009

2009 ps3 price drop already. if you bought your ps3 in 2007, it will probably cost more then 2K and that don't include game and another ds3.
