Hi. Just wondering if anyone had used Keynotes for presentation? I have to give a lot of training and carrying the Ipad with a VGA cable to link to the projector will really help a lot smile.gif

I have been using my Ipad mainly for work, for almost 2 months now. So far my experience has been pretty pleasant. I mainly use my ipad for:
- referring to price list/ PDF/ Office documents
- jotting down notes during a meeting
- go online whenever i need to (especially when i need extra information other than those i have prepared beforehand)
- emails on Exchange Server 2010
- presentation to clients (via Keynote)
- occasional gaming during travel

To be frank, all things listed above can be achieved with a normal net book or laptop... But one thinf is for sure, my ipad can run for 3 days on 3G until it needs a recharge... This is not achievable on any other computing device.

Hi. in your presentation to clients via keynote, do you link it to the projector? hows your experience with it? is it like using a notebook?

@nickygin: When you hook your VGA-cable to your iPad via the adapter. It's just as simple as plug and play.

Personally, I think that the iPad is good as long as you don't have to do any complex work like creating charts and power point presentations from scratch... Or at least I have not learnt how to do those yet smile.gif

However, my iPad was more than sufficient to sustain me during a 1 week work travel in which I used the iPad to prepare and edit documentations, communicating with office, reading reports and others. Best was I didn't have to carry my heavy office laptop to do all these smile.gif

Aeiou, to answer your query on FaceTime, I had used FaceTime via maxis broadband but it has to go through a mifi device as FaceTime only works with wifi connection.

It was excellent when I was using FaceTime on my iPhone 4. No lags and everything clear as per the advertisements smile.gif
