Tested on my ATI HD5870 with Catalyst 10.11 but it looks 3D doesnt work out of the box with AMD/ATI, due to the fact that they dont provide any 3D middleware.. I saw some threads saying that you need to purchase and install Tridef to enable 3D - https://www.ddd.com/cart/product.php?productid=46&cat=2
Havent tried it yet though..

For Video playback, you can use Stereoscopic Player - http://3dtv.at/Products/Player/Index_en.aspx
I tried it with some normal MP4/AVI/MKV playback and the 3D effect is amazing.. however there's a lot of flicker at the moment, might need to tweak the settings in the Player or in display properties..

Fortunately as Aaron mentioned earlier, there's a magic 3D button on your Remote Control that simulates 3D effect for any 2D content.. The depth and quality depends on the content you are playing, and there's settings on the remote on how strong you want the 3D effect to be.. I've tried this simulated 3D on Call of Duty Black Ops and it looks amazing!! The 3D effect is a bit subtle on StarCraft 2 though.. have you tried it out Aaron?

unfortunately i havent got a chance to unbox my own tv yet... it's been recycled to different owners now. haha... customer who come from afar need it first, so i have to sacrifice my personal unit + heavyarm's one to those buyer lor... both of us will wait patiently while all of u enjoy the 3D TV first .

Finally i get my 3d tv frm aaron last friday and it is awesome.

but unfortunately my tv set very "lucky", it got a stuck pixel (blue) in the left middle of the 40inch glass tv, i very beh song!

However, aaronwee settle for me the warranty issue within 48 hours! i send back to sony style, and very satisfied with the services!

they gv me ONE TO ONE REPLACEMENT ON THE SPOT after verify the dot pixel problem! This is darm cool and they even send to my carpark park at basement with very good manner services.

It is very good experience to purchase frm sony malaysia through aaronwee~

my conclusion is aaronwee provide good services, cheap sony official product with reliable warranty, now my 3d tv got 5 years warranty, i can use it without worry, even abuse it
