Going to test AMD HD3D with our new Sony 3D TV and see if they work well together for 3D PC Gaming!! I'll post the results later!

Tested on my ATI HD5870 with Catalyst 10.11 but it looks 3D doesnt work out of the box with AMD/ATI, due to the fact that they dont provide any 3D middleware.. I saw some threads saying that you need to purchase and install Tridef to enable 3D - https://www.ddd.com/cart/product.php?productid=46&cat=2

I tried it with some normal MP4/AVI/MKV playback and the 3D effect is amazing.. however there's a lot of flicker at the moment, might need to tweak the settings in the Player or in display properties..

Fortunately as Aaron mentioned earlier, there's a magic 3D button on your Remote Control that simulates 3D effect for any 2D content.. The depth and quality depends on the content you are playing, and there's settings on the remote on how strong you want the 3D effect to be.. I've tried this simulated 3D on Call of Duty Black Ops and it looks amazing!! The 3D effect is a bit subtle on StarCraft 2 though.. have you tried it out Aaron?
