why am i reading can just bring authorization letter from principle line? i've done this before and this is a no...the owner of the principle line has to be there.

as for the 333 mins etc, it's for any local networks, not only maxis-to-maxis. i think it has been like this since 3g was launched, wasn't it? the SMS n MMS is between maxis only.

zzz...now only i received the email from maxis regarding the rsvp ...

it stated on the email  >>> Hotlink subscribers will be required to upgrade to a principal line in order to purchase an iPhone4 with an iValue plan.

what does it means ???currently im hotlink prepaid user...
*
there's no hotlink plan yet, only ivalue n idata. both are postpaid plans, not prepaid. so being a hotlink user, how would you get to use ivalue? by changing to a postpaid line of course. u'll be a principal line holder since u're not under anyone else's. think of it as ur own independent maxis postpaid account.

that being said, im not sure why hotlink users cannot upgrade to supp line to get ivalue plans

QUOTE(Rayman.S @ Sep 23 2010, 09:04 AM)
Guys you think it is worth taking the 24 month contract? at first I was opt for 12 month contract since the discount is not that great but later I read on maxis page stating that for 24 month contract they will extend the Iphone warranty as well.

I never use Iphone before therefore could not predict how reliable this device is or how much is the cost for the repair and maintainable.

Therefore the 24 month warranty is quite tempting.
*
you can never predict how long something lasts no matter you've own it or not. it might break in 1 day after ur warranty ends, or even 5 years from now. ppl dun get warranty because they 'predict' something is going to break. it's more of a 'just in case' thing for a peace of mind.

personally i think the 24 month contract is worth it. that depends if u plan to buy ip5 next year or not.

QUOTE(hirota @ Sep 23 2010, 09:52 AM)
no worry, i will be there on the midnite launch smile.gif
im wonder can we get the micro sim on the spot from maxis??
*
dont u think it's ridiculous if they sell you n ip4 but not a microsim? they WANT you to be on their network

Am sure Maxis will segregate stocks for other states. Afterall, they wouldn't want to offend their other customers who are not in the KLANG valley...
*
yeap. cuz then it'll be too easy for us not in klang valley to say "ahh maxis no stock, go digi lah". im sure maxis wont allow that tongue.gif

Bad experience with 2 mep during the weekend when I went to enquire iPhone 4 stock. One of them told me to place my name and contact in waiting list of 2-3 weeks stock ...

maxis centre miri didnt even have the correct itunes version installed tongue.gif rather than waiting for them to download an update, i brought it home n activated myself haha

i'm on the 2 year iValue plan, which is under 2 years warranty. however, i checked at apple's website ( https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do ) it only states that my iphone is only under 1 year warranty.

i called up Maxis CS, n it turns out that the 1st year warranty is by Apple, but the 2nd year is by Maxis themselves.

this differs from the explanation by the staff who entertained me during my iphone purchase. he mentioned that the 2nd year warranty is under AppleCare Protection Plan.

im not sure if this means anything, but just sharing lah
