LED is a good choice since it help the contrast, less power, slim, but expensive..
LCD almost the same with led,but the black level not very cun..
after all,its hard for u to tell the diff if u hookup with ps3 and play blu-ray
movie..
60inch LCD, 55inch LED or just go 3D?

QUOTE(ShaolinTiger @ Sep 21 2010, 01:14 PM) Plasma power consumption is not a big issue, if you do the real calculation and average usage for a year a Plasma set will cost you about RM125 more than a LCD set. yeah, and for me,if i want something big, cheap, good PQ,and not gonna move around, ill definately go for plasma.. Plus the new generation of Plasma sets are much more eco friendly. |

QUOTE(zainframe @ Sep 21 2010, 01:32 PM) Yes my thoughts exactly- in 1-2yrs down the line they might even figure out how to do 3d without glasses. At the very least make the current 3d glass tech less prone to fatigue and discomfort. Thing is I'm a avid gamer and the thought of GT5 & Killzone 3 in 3D is just something I cannot brush off then ill go for LED due to contrast and better black level..but,gonna burn a big hole in your pocket!kidding..GT fan here..hahaI am not considering plasma since despite what they've been claiming, I still see quite a few people suffering from burn-in with the latest models. Conditioning and good practice (e.g. running white noise a few hrs/day) may help but that is one more thing I need to worry about. Looks like I'm down to the 60inch LCD or 55inch LED...... how? thanks for the replies guys i have 1 question..do u think 50/100/200 hz have big diff between them or just a marketing thing ? |

QUOTE(refnulf @ Sep 22 2010, 06:56 PM) There's really no need to go into debt for a tv. yeah,as long as u happy with the tv,and doesnt bring u any prob in future, thats more than enough..watch tv to release stress, entertain our self, not to put us in debt and headache.. Just buy what you can afford. Bigger is better, but you don't have to get the biggest tv available. We're all no millionaires here. |
